Say you're going to get the game and everything that's released the day it comes out. What is your ideal situation for what's released on that day? What characters and crystals do you want to come out on day one? For me it's like this:

*At least 1 Sensei per class. (Doubt it.)
*One or two more villains outside of Golden Queen and Wolfgang. (Possible, but somewhat unlikely.)
*If there are multiple crystal molds, at least one per element. (Likely.)
*If there is one crystal per element, maybe one or two released outside the starter packs if they want to space them out between waves. (Likely.)
*Crash Starter Pack, as well as the others.

So, what are you guys hoping for?

The Life & Water Senseis and at least another amazing one. (hopefully Dark or Magic but very unlikely, the Air guy would be great too)

Water & Dark Imaginite Crystal.

Dreamcatcher. (if she's even in it)

And that's all. I know there will be much more but I only hope for these things.

EDIT; Since Ember has been confirmed for Wave 2, I have to take her out of the list.

What'll happen? Probably nothing cause I wait for sales.

Perfect scenario...Activision sends us every SkyLanders Imaginators product to add to the collection.

Reality...we go to the store on a midnight release and buy 2 of each product...and return/rebuy when an awesome sale hits.

Technically day 2, but getting all the wave 1 characters on my birthday.

Pre-order PS3 DE and get whatever figures and crystals that come out on 10/16/2016. Hold off on regular in case they release Golden Queen and King Pen in single packs. I doubt it, but you never know.
I think this may be the best game in the series.
I heard one video that you can go beyond level 20. In fact, I heard you can go up as level 50+. I'm going to double check, but that would be cool

Ember hasn't been confirmed for any wave. It was only speculation.

Day One:
Dark Starter pack
one of each type of sensei(good ones)
one of each type of villain(good ones)
one of each type of crystals

Day 1

Wii U Starter Pack. (Normal, unless Crash starter pack isn't a PlayStation exclusive Starter Pack(probably not) )
A Tech or Earth Creation Crystal
A non Villan Sensei (Right now, It might be Ambush)

My perfect day 1 would involve:

- All Sensei Skylanders revealed at/before E3.
- At least 3 single pack Creation Crystals
- 2 Villain Senseis outside the starter packs
- A way to afford all this ^

Day 1:

Dark Starter pack
Wave 1 Crystals
Wave 1 senseis

Heavy discounts would be my perfect day one situation. Implement Black Friday sale prices on day one would be better for everyone.

Except for the company.

But in all seriousness, Dark Starter Pack for PS4, Ambush, and Tri-Tip.

For me, it'd be...

I feel like they'll hold off on a crystal or 2 to start.

Like dark and light, with dark only available in wave 1 with the dark starter pack .

I think the first one is pretty likely on terms of contents.

I sure hope so. Totally changing my pre-order if it's the case.
It did say "Skylander Sensei Characters" or something similar. It didn't say there would be only two.

UPDATE:
Getting both DE and Crash edition starter packs ($99.99 each). Mainly the Crash edition because it's PS exclusive at launch for the Crash figure.
Plus whatever figures and crystals come out wave 1.
