Finally decided to stop looking disappointedly at my entry and color it so it can be submitted.

Well, since my art skills haven't improved since I was 13, maybe I have a bigger chance of getting picked for the top 11? I mean, it's cute, you can tell what it is, and it has a backstory.

That's great! I love how the wings are actually leaves! Very creative!

Great! I just realized I can't enter the contest because I need a mobile device to upload pictures and I don't have one.

From what I know, I need to download some cryptic app in order to post it on my computer. I also have no phone to borrow.

Twitter should be compatible with everything and have a picture upload function. Don't ask me exactly though, tumblr's the only social media on my phone, everything else goes in the pc if I have an account at all.

Activision can be dumb at times... but not dumb enough to add a character where you can't even see what is going on

But doesn't my picture have to be uploaded on Instagram?

You could send an email containing your picture to Activision you know. It might not show up on the website, but at least you don't need to use a social media account (as if I have any of those...).

*shrug* SkylandersGame twitter is retweeting pictures there too, so I think both of them work.

Would that disqualify me if I tried to post a main picture and some secondary pictures explaining things about the character like abilities and weapons they use together?

It's probably the same entry,but just in case I'd edit both pictures together or take pictures of the papers side by side.

That's what I meant: Even if I posted them as one picture.

That's fine, it's the same tweet or email. Issue is two different characters or possibly many emails with more sketches that could look slightly different.

They have shown in examples that the grand prize winner will have their character in the game as an Imaginator.

On the left is the main picture. On the right top is an example of her Dreamworld form, and on the bottom right is her weapon upgrades.

Eh, I don't expect to win, but I had fun drawing her. My entry will probably be drowned out by other entries or forgotten. Plus, I had a lot to say about it, but Twitter's word limit made it so I had to link to my art page to explain more.

Oh man, guys. We should have made a topic to judge the entries ourselves - it would be interesting to compare our winners and Actis winners!

Finally finished procrastinating and made something a little sloppy. She's up on Instagram already, but the filters really mess her up even more. Lol, the pink watermark thingymajig. I did that as a last minute using a touchpad inside of a tablet.

She looks really nice! Kind of little indication of element though, it looks Magic because of the main color being purple but there's no other pointers, maybe Undead because spooky.

Probably should've PM'd you like I planned to for assistance on her design then. XD
Yeah, I had difficulty choosing between her elements. Decided to throw her in Magic...and change her a little from a Star Strike-expy wearing a haunted animal skin. I like this one better for sure.

I did offer help, though I gave up on doing bases since everyone was busy sending it on day one. If someone comes up to ask I'm all ears, though probably through the phone because most of the time I'm not at home so can't really show references.

If she's Magic, I'd have added blue accents to her armor, maybe pink to the turn as well. Those three are the most commonly used for the Magic characters, plus gold/orange and red on small details. If you wanted Undead instead, you could just make the armor and the urn rock-like, and it'd be obvious because Undead's official color scheme is grasycale(even more now that Dark and Magic fight for shades of purple).

Clockodile sounds great but it's a bit of an unfortunate name because of pronounciation, I'd go for Alarm-Croc.
