Multiple molds, just like Traps. The Light one is undoubtedly my favorite though.

Air's base makes me think the Life Dark Starter crystal is a recolor of the Dark crystal,but we'll see.

I hope there are 10 designs. I would prefer not having multiple of the same design (if there are less than 10 - we only see 8 in the picture), and I don't want to miss out on any designs (if there are more than 10)...

For traps, I got one of each design (except upside-down, which was 2creepy4me), because I really liked the different designs, but didn't want multiples. It also worked out element-wise, as I got exactly half as many traps as villains (rounding up from 1/2=0.5 and 3/2=1.5 to 1 and 2 in the case of Kaos and Magic).

So, I'm a little nervous this time around, considering what happened with trap availability...

Water and Earth also have the same casing design.

So we've had confirmation of 8 different molds. now. So, 80 possible Creation Crystals. They better not do that. I hope there's only like 2 per element.

At this point, I don't know if were getting multiple or not.

I notice they've been very clever in making the crystal shapes different inside the cases that are the same. EEEEEVIL

I think getting multiple is a good thing.

Let's say you have 2 fire crystals with different designs, you'd be able to tell which one has which Imaginator.

I REALLY hope that the Dark Starter Life one was just a concept and there will only be 1 per element.

But there's no way in hell that's happening...

EDIT: Yeah, I considered the fact that we could tell the difference, but they better just leave it at 2 per element. 2 would actually be perfect for me, so I could make one serious and one joke Imaginator per element. I'm a completionist, and I'm gonna get every toy. So I'll be mad if they make a bunch of Creation Crystals per element.

I plan to get 2-3 of each element, so with them having different designs, that's helpful

Multiple is one thing,but if we have 10 crystal designs and 10 molds(assuming 2 aren't visible in the picture), 100 possible crystals will be suicide for them and for us to keep up with.

For traps, there were only 2-3 of the same designs (granted, there were 22 multi-element designs, plus 3 unique Traps). It did not work out too well...

Fingers crossed that there are only about 20-30 (as opposed to 55 + 11 variants) different crystals total.

thoughts on each-

fire- like the 20D in the center.
life- the acorn design is very cool looking.
air- the wings at the bottom are a nice touch.
magic- ehhhh??
tech- even though it's the same design as fire, the colors of it make it cooler.
water- cool...
earth- not as good as water but still cool
undead- looks okay. of course... it won't matter once he's inside.
light- GIVE IT TO ME. PLEASE.
dark- like it.

My favorites are Light, Dark, Undead & Life. If there are multiple molds I may wait for some to come out so that they fit the character inside... I know I'm not patient enough to do that. But hey, that could confirm that we're getting one mold of each element in Wave 1 & the other molds later.

Sky 7 will very likely be the first Skylander game on NX then!

Much like Skylanders announcements, you're not even allowed to acknowledge the existence of these things, so I wouldn't worry. Activision have certainly seen NX 100%.

All I have to say is that Activision would be very stupid to release 80+ Crystals after the trap fiasco.

Hopefully they'll at least have learned not to release the elements unevenly, since that resulted in WATER EVERYWHERE and not enough of other elements.

Is anyone worried that this guest star could take the spot of a light and dark character because they "aren't as important"?
I mean, apparently Kaos was "confirmed" to be the 11th villain...
This guest star could easily steal Luminous or Nightshade's spot...
Or even the one of the Sensei's.

Luminous and Nightshade are probably not gonna get figures, sorry.

I don't really see why they're "probably not," considering we know very little at this point all confirmed villains have been Doom Raiders (except for Pain-Yatta).

I don't think that Light and Dark Villains would be replaced by Guest Stars, but I can totally see one of the Light and Dark Senseis being replaced by Guest Stars, pretty much like SuperChargers.

Couldn't agree more.

The shape is definitely cool, but I think it doesn't fit Light well.
I actually think Light and Dark should swap their designs.

Magic is simple but perfect, definitely going to buy that design (same goes for Air, Fire, Life and most likely Undead).
I hope they will change Light, Dark, Tech, Earth and Water.
