I was just browsing google looking for new info on Imaginators and went to images after done looking at links. I was scrolling through and saw 2 separate pictures of Golden Queen and Tri Top. I looked closely and the 2 seemed to be both in ALMOST EXACTLY the same pose. Is it just me, or are the Artists really getting lazy?

Eh, it's always been this way. I remember back in 2011 the same picture of Spyro was pasted onto every piece of merchandise you could find.

Just how it's been drawn. There's an emphasis on the weapons, since these are what define each different battle class. |

I'm sure if they looked it over though they would have noticed. |

Why would they care though? Obviously, they have to put emphasis on the weapons because they are the focus, so it makes sense. I don't know why this bothers you so much |

That's the illustration company, even in the best games they screw those up. Either the poses are repetitive or innacurate, and this time we have both, as GD is lacking her shorts despite having them on the game. I know the figure only has faint lines instead of stripes but you never use a single reference if inconsistecies are known.
Nightfall comes to mind as a super innacurate artwork because her figure lacked the glitter on the sleeves and the gold buttons, but they went with the figure too.

It's ok to care, but it's really not that big of a deal. The illustration company does the merch, not the game; so it just takes looking at screenshots instead.

King Pen is pretty much in the same position as well. Pretty sure they all will be with the possible exception of the swashbucklers.

Maybe the artists know they also are creating the pose for the figure as well.

Nope, it's a specific company for illustration and packaging, name escapes me now but I'll edit it later. The developers do the figure poses, though it may be changed slightly like Thrillipede in mass production. Here's the company's portolio.Skylanders is in random order there.

why do we care? It's not like we have a card in the box to make fun of it.
