Apparently Senseis are the strongest warriors of all times, summoned to help us create and train our own Skylanders... But what about villains?

Why are they treated like Senseis as well, having a special symbol and everything?

Th gameplay looked really good, a well done mix of TfB and V.V.!
The creation mode seems less limited than I thought but I'm still not sure on how I feel about it.

Just to clear up some confusion I'm seeing. The senseis and villains are the size of giants, not the crystals. Those will most likely be similar to size as a trap. Crystals are elementaly aligned, with a fire being in the starter pack. To create characters if other elements you'll need to buy more crystals. Each crystal costs 9.99, as stated in the press release in his video.

Gotta know a villain to beat a villain, probably. Chances are they're declaring a truce because of Kaos' reach, just like he did in TT.

This is awesome.

I thought I was going to skip out on this game, but everything is looking pretty good. The character creation looks amazing. And a few Skylanders having roles in the storyline...

Kaos being the villain again is a little disappointing after Superchargers ending though...

Good Eon, I'm quite surprised by this game.
Definitely the kind of "game changing" I like... Tons of Times better than vehicles, for instance.

But I feel like they might have tried putting too much things.
Oh, well.

Trap Team gave me a quite similar feeling, and ended up being my favorite game.

So, this is what we know so far about the game;

Did not hear about this, not sure who's wrong or right on it, leaving it at that.

You need a Sensei of each of the 10 Battle Classes, the Creation Crystals only determine what element your creation is, as far as I can tell.

So what it really is is if you want to create multiple characters, you need more and more Creation Crystals. It's possible that you'll need one of each element, or a Sensei of each element, but at this point I don't think that'll be the case. Maybe a Sensei of each element unlocks extra parts you can use for your creation of the same element?

I'm curious if there will be anything like adventure packs this time. Last year we got the racing packs which were similar, but not as good. Maybe give us the adventure pieces and a crystal instead since there's no cores?

If you feel like you've done enough no big deal drawdler, these screenshots should tide us over for tomorrow. Go get some rest if you want to.

I would't take a Kaos figure for granted, just yet.

He's the main villain of the game after all.
But... Maybe it will be possible to trap him inside a figure and fully play as him, after completing the game.

Do we know the Dark Edition content?
Maybe it does include something along the lines of the Kaos Trap.

Also, regarding villains, I think we could kinda figure out at least 10 of the 11 villains.
The thing is they must be big (since apparently Activision wants to sell 15€/$ soooo bad, can't blame them) so I guess Chompy Mage, Luminous and Nightshade are potentially out of question, for example.

Close. Senseis unlock weapons if the same battle class. So say you make a brawler, then when you use a brawler senseis for he first time, it will unlock a weapon for all your own created brawler class skylanders. It does not tie to the element.

I just noticed that the portal on the Starter Pack box is just the Swap Force portal... Huh?

Has anybody understood how crystal and customized skylanders works? I mean you use the crystal to store and move your skylanders to your friend's house, but I guess you can also save a few of them in your game, right?

If all portals are compatible again,I'll be so happy(and hope for Digital Owners again), but kinda sad because the Traptanium Portal is super expensive to import still and I've been depending on a borrowed Giants portal for my WiiU.
