Golden Queen can do a shockwave slam that turns enemies to gold, shoot from her staff, summon that gold bullet minion thing (which I think you can charge to get a shield around it and spread shots?) and turn giant and slam the ground

So, this is what we know so far about the game;

Imagination crystals that will let us create our own Skylanders. (OCs)

20 Senseis, two for each element and they all have a special weapon symbol.

11 villains, one for each elemenet and Kaos, also have symbols.

"fan-favorites" & Academy stars will return.

all old characters are playable.

There will be online Racing and Traps will have same use as in SC.

Senseis will be as big as Giants (Lord have mercy) and Imagination crystals as big as Traps.

While Skylanders Imaginators is all about creating your own custom characters, they’d be nothing with Sensei characters to show them the way and give Activision new figures to sell. We’ll be seeing a lot of new faces during E3 this week, including Ember, the fire-based Sensei of the Sentinel class.

A wormhole has opened in Skylands and the great Aku Aku appears! He has come to announce the once-in-two-decades Synchronization Celebration--a time when all of the worlds align perfectly. All the inhabitants of Wumpa Island are having a party and they want to invite the Skylanders. But with Kaos on a quest to take over Skylands using his army of Doomlanders, the Skylanders must focus on stopping his evil plans. Never one to shy away from danger, the legendary marsupial Crash Bandicoot leaps through the wormhole to join the Skylanders in the ultimate battle against Kaos!

No word on Battle Mode, Elemental Zones return, Troll Radio returns, Spyro and Stealth Elf are mentioned as few of the NPC Skylanders that will be in Imaginators.

The latest edition of the Argos catalogue has included advance listings for several previously unannounced Skylanders from Skylanders Imaginators.

They include an Earth Sentinel named Barbella, an Undead Smasher called Chopscotch, as well as two returning villains: the Tech Quickshot "Dr. Krankcase" and the elementally realigned Fire Ninja "Tae Kwon Crow".

And a few days ago there was an official reveal at the "Sweet Suite 16" event in New York City where they showed off another elementally realigned returning villain, the now Dark Sentinel "Hood Sickle".

Thanks to a Reddit post by Syniz we now know that as part of a bonus for pre-ordering Skylanders Imaginators it appears that certain participating retailers are going to be giving away a free Kaos figure.

So you're really trying to fix Skylands, you're trying to explore the map and gather enough forces together to stop Kaos. Because as his imagination is developing, he's creating more and more dangerous villains for you to fight, these Doomlanders.

And in addition, we have non-combat gameplay, we have a new version of a card game called Creation Clash, and tons of surprising bosses, and often Mexican food figures into it. Fans will understand.

Each, for example, Sensei not only is an awesome Skylander with these super Sky-Chi power moves, but they also provide creation options for your Imaginators, Secret Techniques and increased level cap. Toys R Us have posted the first of their new exclusive Legendary Skylanders for Skylanders Imaginators and it's a Legendary Tri-Tip.

Sporting a new red and gold colour scheme compared to the blue and gold Legendaries of the previous games, Legendary Tri-Tip will be released at launch. His regular edition is part of Wave 2 which is expected to also be released at or near to launch but perhaps in more limited quantities or only at specific stores to begin with.

Another new look Legendary being produced for Imaginators is Legendary Pit Boss, an Undead Sorcerer. He was accidentally revealed by the official website earlier in the week when they unveiled his regular edition.

It is not yet known when this guy will be released.

Previously seen referenced to by text listings this is our first proper look at the variant that, according to the box, will once again be exclusive to Best Buy. Best Buy have yet to post it (or any other figures) themselves but if the European listings are any indication then it should be available at launch (which is less than a month away!).

The official unveiling of the Skylanders Creator app has today revealed that along with being able to create Imaginators within the app it will also let you order a playable 3D print of your Imaginator (for $50, quantities limited), a playable card with a picture of your Imaginator on ($15) or even a T-shirt with your Imaginator on it ($25, not playable).

The app (which launches today) will let you create an Imaginator from scratch or import one from the game by sound once the game is released in a couple of weeks. It is only possible to transfer to the app and not the other way around, the only way to use an Imaginator created in the app in the game is to buy the card or figure of it (or to meticulously recreate it in the game by hand). Getting more parts to use will require you to open daily chests but parts used in Imaginators transferred from the game will unlock automatically. FamilyGamerTV have an interview with Paul Reiche explaining it all.

As part of Nintendo's Switch presentation today it was very briefly revealed that there will be a version of Skylanders Imaginators for the new system. The game will be released at launch on the 3rd of March and will feature a "digital library" of characters so that you can play without the Portal of Power.

They have also revealed that Wild Storm will be part of a brand new level pack called the Cursed Tiki Temple where you can "unlock more than 100 new offerings" whatever that means. The pack will contain Wild Storm, a Life Crystal, and an Imaginite Mystery Chest. It'll be released on March 12th for $30.
