I really hope they'll give us some official news (and not like "you know, we kinda have the permission to show you something yet unclear rather soon, but you'll have to wait a bit more") and a couple leaks if they'll do reveal it this week.

I'm not counting on it though.
Even with SuperChargers we at least got a pretty clear confirm about the reveal day.

I'm at that terrible point where the hype I have makes Me equally hope for the impossible and doubt everything.

It was a fake leak image a Fan Wikia regular decided to post as a joke. I removed it from the Skylanders Wikia when they tried to pose the fake image as a "leak".

Pff SkaterPunk's original comment has been removed too. Serves them right on posting fake leaks for laughs. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same person who posted the image on the wikia.

It's sad, because I'm not even feeling hyped for the reveal anymore. There's been so little stuff, and now I just don't feel very excited about this anymore. Sure, we had the calendar leak, but that got old after a while. I mean, of course I'll be hyped when the game's announced, but right now I'm not as excited as I normally am before a reveal.

I was specifically pointing out that a teaser image like that can be easily faked and can only be proven real if it shows up on the OFFICIAL Skylanders account.

Also, it's Toys for Bob! They MADE this brand. TFB would never do something that stupid to their own bread and butter.

You are right about leaks' sources but that definitely looked like something Activision itself would make to tease the reveal, so I doubt someone would get to post it before them.
But the youtuber hypothesis isn't to exclude, for future cases.

Regarding gimmicks, I'll repeat what I said in another topic: now that vehicles (which worried me the most) are out of the way, I think I'll at least positively accept whatever idea they had.
I won't lie, I would be kinda worried if we were talking about V.V. (sports? FPS? Turn based strategy game with no exploration or puzzles? Everything is possible for the sake of innovation, I guess)... But this is TfB year!

I personally cannot sincerely doubt them, after three games I absolutely loved.

Alright, so I got a comment on my video reacting to the fake leak that the person at WTW's school made up. Someone said that It wasn't fake. I'm not confirming anything, nor am I believing anything. This person probably believes that it isn't fake, unless he legit went to the event, which is unlikely.

It's the Internet... Someone just saying that it's true doesn't mean diddly squat! That "leak" was debunked by the user who posted it anyway, so why even bother. Probably a troll or some hyper active kid who is just as impatient as we are.

It's probably the same person that said it here and then disappeared. As I told them, their word against everyone else's.

I wouldn't. A Shadow Maker is someone who evokes fear using the power of the darkness and the unknown. They are associate with "the monsters in the dark." So it's actually a pretty clever name.

We can make out an obvious sword, which is 99.99% unlikely to mean anything, but hey, I've got a little hope for swappable weapons/armos

I honestly do want a venus fly trap character, that sounds rad.

If you guys are curious about spells with odd guys on the art, there's also Abra-Kaboom, Quicksand, Soul Survivor, Ice Storm, and a few others. Something of note is that the Non-Elemental spells don't have them, as far as I remember.
