WHY!? WHY DO YOU NEED A PRESS EVENT FOR BATTLECAST??!? THIS MAKES NO SENSE!

Of all the times to hype up Battlecast, you choose NOW to do it? Un-freaking-believable... Hopefully we get a tease of SOMETHING there. This is ridiculous. What are you doing? WHY DID I HAVE TO JINX IT!?

This is such an awkward time to do this too. Most people are sick of Superchargers and just want the new game to get announced so that they can forget about Superchargers and move on. The more they prolong this announcement, the more interest in the series fades away...

Also, I cannot stress enough how unnecessary it is to do a press event for Battlecast! You should've done this a month ago! The game comes out in 5 days!! What is the point of showing off a product that most people already know about several days before the release? Save this **** for something more important, like Skylanders 6... My god

Hey, remember a few years back when they teased Trap Team? They got us excited for it! Now we have to wait in dead silence for a press release to hit. Hm... I have known people who go to press events to do things like him before. You know, say the event is going to cover one thing, when it is really covering another thing to surprise the fans. But, honestly, I can believe that it is being held for Battlecast individually. *sigh* Skylanders 6, why must you strip tease us?

That's why I'm thinking that it could also be real. But would battlecast fall under toys to life?

Battlecast is Cards to Life,it's the tagline. Shouldn't count in my opinion, since it's AR and nothing to do with NFC chips.

I would like for the PR and Marketing departments at Activision to firmly apply their palms to their faces.

So they're having something for Battlecast? Then this probably means Sky6 will be revealed at E3 this year. I honestly can't see them prolonging the reveal any further than that.

It's just dumb to make a press event for a game that releases in five days. Why not just release a bunch of information online?

I don't really know why waiting so much for revealing the new game, unless Activision wants to just boost with the news without breath to caught as much attention as possible.

If that was the case wouldn't NOW be a perfect time to do it? Infinity is cancelled and we don't have anything Lego Dimensions related. Why not get ahead of your competition and reveal it now when there is a significant lull in Toys to Life news

But, since it has been more or less confirmed Activision won't have a booth at E3, I guess we might be looking for an early June reveal, like last year, maybe during a special event this time.

Doubt they would just show up and say "hi, this year we have a new Call of Duty incoming... As long with the sixth Skylanders game! BOOM! Enjoy the trailer!".

And it's one of the reasons why I'm highly skeptical/distrustful of what he comments on and posts when it comes to new content.

It's a boy who cried wolf sort of thing. I can't bring myself to trust him because he's ruined his reliability with fake leaks. That being said he was pretty helpful yesterday and because I'm trying to be nice I'll take it with a grain of salt... A big, huge, size of the ocean grain of salt, but it will still be taken.

I was actually thinking something similar.

Maybe Activision wants it to be a surprise for him as well, and came up with the Battlecast excuse.
Let's leave yroc out for now, it wouldn't be the first time he seeks attention in particular situations (nothing personal against you, buddy, but it cannot be denied).

Again, the Chopper "leak" happened just a couple days ago... I sincerely doubt this is a coincidence.

I'd assume that everyone gets their videos done Wednesday or something. Embargoes and such!

I just hope it isn't the usual where it's early morning on my timezone. It's freezing here and I've got places to go at that time, trying to keep track on the news with my phone will be horrible since I have to always take off the gloves.

And yeah,that sounds petty,but I'm also going to be turning videos and articles upside down for every bit of info as usual once it starts. I really don't want to be outside on the phone when that happens.

Looking at Dark's news archive... They took a liking to news from Tuesdays to Thursdays. During TT we had the occasional one on Friday(reveal was Thursday) and Monday.

We might at least know if he knows.

Though I wouldn't count a lot on that either, the way things are going.

Somebody should sincerely tell Activision how hype works, because this is just frustrating and not enjoyable anymore.

Well, I believe he means that people will be urgent to discover news tomorrow due to the announcements, regardless of whether we get information or not.

If it's at least in part Sky6, I'd be amazed if we didn't at leasthe get a date for when stuff will be revealed. A bunch of the youtubers, about a week or so ahead of the SC reveal, gave the date when they could tell.

Well it is very possible Acti doesn't want them telling this time. The fact that we haven't gotten a reliable leak yet speaks for itself.

Although Yroc's my friend and he seems to have connections to Activision (getting stuff early and so on), he has cried wolf a few too many times.

They sold apps like angry birds for the 3ds...they could sell it as a game. However doing so would be pointless and why i got angry bird starwars for the 3ds for like free during xmas, and even then my son never uses it.

We know Sky 6 is coming in 2016. Assuming the release date will be similar to last year's we shouldn't be far away from official announcements / on purpose leaks.

We haven't yet surpassed the end of may / beginning of june barrier where SC was revealed last year. I would get worried if we were at mid june and still no news, but at the moment, nothing seems to be out of place (if we take as a reference last year's).

As it happens sometimes in real life, the nearer you get to a special date, the more anxious you become.

Yep, sorry, but the more I think about it the less I believe about the Battlecast explanation.

TheAsianGuyGamer clearly didn't wanted to tell the nature of the event at first, otherwise he wouldn't have said he was invited at something "by Activision" and "about Toys to Life".
Now, why would he want to keep a Battlecast event secret, when we know pretty much everything about it already?

Now let's looks at the possibility of an Academy reveal.
It is techically tied to the Toys to Life but not directly and, again, we already know a good number of informations about it, no need to hide it from us.

Finally, Skylanders 6.
We know the developers, the release year and the a few other things; that's about it.
What makes me even more doubtful is that the first thing he replied was "it's not Sky 5", almost like he had a number and not a name, in mind (why not write directly SuperChargers if that was the case?).

So yeah, Activision might confirm itself as the King of Trolls and wanted to keep secret a completely un-hyping event or it might have simply told the people going there it was a Battlecast event.
But after all these consideration I strongly doubt it is just that.
Really, there is no need for a Battlecast event and it wouldn't be necessary to keep an Academy reveal secret.

Plus, I still think the Chopper leak holds a certain truth.

Long story short: no need for all this secretiveness and half-said words if it was just a Battlecast or Academy conference.
They know what we are all waiting for and I'm convinced that is what the event is about.
