It definitely isn't related to the film at all. The movie is still in pre-production. It's also highly unlikely that Warner Bros would decide to market the film this way. We would directly be told by WB small things about the film's production schedule, like its release date and when filming begins(unless they decide to do something like 10 Cloverfield Lane did with its marketing, in that case it would be genius, especially for something like FNaF).

That aside though it's safe to assume this teaser is anything except FNaF. My guess is that it's a brand new game. Personally hoping that it's a Desolate Hope 2 or something of that nature.

@kardonis it says 'Five Nights at Freddy's' at the top of the image. However it doesn't look like it'll be a FNaF 5, maybe just a FNaF related game possibly taking place at a different pizzeria with new animatronics.

Who ever saying that he's doing it for money he's not really doing for money he just wants to keep games going Just let him do what he wants to keep us Fnaf fans going and others entertained.

This game might be something new to what we've played from the Fnaf series. We herd all the story on the Fnaf locations now let's hear the sisters location story.

Just remeber there's a lot games that get tons of prequels sequels Fnaf series it's not the only game like this keep it in mind.

This guy is milking the series to DEATH now. In fact, it's already dead to many people. 6 games in less than 2 years... please let it sleep already. It had its time 2 years ago. Even then he chugged 2 games out in not even a year. Now he's just looking for excuses to make more. I know Scott's a good guy at heart and he probably just doesn't want to let his series go, the best he can do for it now is to stop.

I'm just glad this series is over. No more anticipation of jumpsca-

It's funny how everyone overreacting over a game xD at least I'm exited to see what the game will have for me to see.

tfw fnaf is still a thing two years and 4 games later

Okay, kind of mixed feelings on this.

I think this is pretty much guaranteed to be some sort of spin-off game. Scott directly said there won't be a FNaF 5 and knowing how open and honest he is and tries to be with the fanbase this might be something completely different from the typical FNaF games. If that's the case I'm kind of optimistic about it since it could be something that we haven't seen before. I'd like for the game to have a different take(even if it's slight) on its "sit and survive" gameplay style kind of like FNaF 4.

That said though, I REALLY wish Scott would extend his reach outside FNaF. We get it, Chipper & Sons Lumber Co. was horrible, but that shouldn't keep Scott from trying to branch out to other ideas and whatnot. The last time he did that(before FNaF), we got The Desolate Hope, which is fantastic from what I've played of it. And if this is just like the past FNaF games, what else can Scott really do from a gameplay perspective? He can't really extend far with the "sit and survive" style that FNaF has, FNaF 4 was probably the farthest it could go without being a standard horror game like Amnesia or Slender.

...I don't care about if the games are good or not. It's just that I feel it's morally wrong to milk a franchise to death after MULTIPLE promises not to.

So you've come to a topic where fans of the games talk about it? To whine about what you think is right/wrong? Guess what guys, nobody cares whether or not you think he's milking the series. It's obvious you don't care about the games, so why are you here? Why bother clicking on the topic at all?

I do enjoy watching playthroughs of the games and even I feel he's milking it and needs to stop. I'm still excited to see a play of the game and see how/if it relates to the story, but it's obvious at this point he's just milking the series to death. If he wants to keep making more FNAF games, that's ok, but take a break and release them a bit further apart.

So... What's the deal with that Joy of Creation fan game?

Nikson made it, he's made a lot of fnaf fan games, and honestly, he should have changed the characters, because that game is amazing. His newest one, The joy of creation: reborn, takes the fnaf characters, and basically turns the game into Slender. You have to wander around an area and try and pick up a certain amount of objects, while trying to avoid a menacing animatronic. It's pretty cool, and looks amazing. Nikson is a really good developer imo.

^Yeah, I've seen he's only gotten Freddy and Bonnie's levels done. Honestly, the game does look like it'll be pretty decent.

Maybe it'll motivate Scott to up his game with sister location?

I heard about that. It's mentioned that he's trying to do this, but that nothing is for sure. He also mentioned that if this does happen he will remaster the original four games for console release.
