Got a Bonnie plush for Xmas

I finished reading The Silver Eyes in two days.
It was pretty good, I found the author's writing style quite enjoyable. There were quite a lot of characters, though, and there was an occasional cliché here and there, but other than that...
There seemed to be a slight discrepancy between what happened in the book and what happened in the games. As much as I want to consider the book canon, I'm not quite sure. (Anything to make the fans shut up about calling Purple Guy 'Vincent' and insisting that's his true name, though... ) Not to mention, I still have some questions about some events that happened, but I suppose that's a part of FNaF, the endless questions.

The book has been confirmed not canon by Scott. It is set in an "alternate universe" was the direct quote iirc

Are there physical copies of the book, or is the book just digital?

Game Theory.

I suppose that means you don't subscribe to the dream theory then? It's personally what I believe but I'm not going to berate you over it. Game Theory also did a video on a "full timeline" so if that's more your speed I'd recommend it.

No, I was implying it was a theory, not a confirmation that it's the full lore. It was incorrect for Eevee to state that's what FNAF is when it could perfectly not be.


As a matter of fact, I'm not against the dream theory. I couldn't care less if people think it's a disappointing conclusion. The way it was represented with very well hidden clues and connections made it an excellent story.

I see. I think we all know to not take GT's words as law after his abysmal "theory" at the beginning of fnaf 4.

I enjoy Game Theory, but at the end of the day, Mat even says it himself: "It's just a theory."
Just a different way to look at something. It's not like he's saying "This is how it is and that's that."

Well congrats to Scott for his new baby boy, that's awesome for him.

Knowing how Scott is, he's probably going to get trigger happy with the release date despite this game being much bigger in scope. As long as it's a good game though I'm kind of fine with it at this point(though i'm sure it will be good, going off of Scott's other work with RPGs).

Not every game going to be perfect as a big fan of fnaf series I love graphics everything since I played rpgs games such as bowser inside story. Plus you can collect party characters too just faint wait to buy the game

I think both or some who have not played RPGs

A lot of flashing in the game due to the attack effects. Scott should really lower the brightness on those before anyone gets a seizure.

Man, I'm only like 25 minutes into the game and i have so many mixed feelings so far.

Scott took to Steam to make an announcment regarding FNaF World. He admitted that he rushed the game and realized he needed to implement a lot more standard features to the game that he should've included. He says he'll be updating the game over the next few weeks to put in more of these features and apologized to the community.

See, this is why he's one of my favorite developers on the indie scene right now. It takes a lot to admit when you screwed up. And he definitely did this time considering the game's negative reaction.

FNAF World looks terrible. Saw Jack play it and he was not amused. Looks like Scott really dropped the ball on this one, and I can't help but feel that this is his attempt to stay in the limelight since Undertale has since taken FNAF's thunder.

it's better to released a fully finished game with all the features you intended to have at the beginning then to release a buggy, unfinished game. this never works out positively for the consumer.
