OOC: We can say that Sybil heard him midway, but continued on.

Although Sybil was very sorry for the way she treated Rose, she still had no sympathy for the monitor. He simply gave an awful expression of himself, and not even the cobra's defense earlier was enough for her to change her mind. She was going to let him stay at the Haven for Rose's sake, but he would have to get his own food if he wanted to go through the drought.

Mambo, who had been watching from the corner of a palm tree the entire time, decided to let Sybil be for the time being. He instead focused on Rose. After the two big reptiles finally settled in their difference, he approached her.
"Hey Rose. I haven't seen you in a long while. I feel like I have missed too much." he said, looking at Crocux, Shilishe, Saris and the cobra, who were the first time he had actually seen them. And now even a kangaroo was arriving, who went to explore herself due to Sybil's sudden departure.

Saris sighed "i appreciate your kindness but my mind is made up. until Sybil make me feel welcome i can't stay. besides i've caused enough trouble. when i do come back it will be with my head held high." and with that he left heading to the outback. if anyone would try to change his mind he would ignore them and just keep going.

OOC: Incoming! Another serval is incoming.... Any orca could the one that saves and evacuates him to Haven.

Name: Sunflame
Age: About the same age as Sybil
Gender: Male
Physical Appearance: His coat almost resembles the glow of the rising and setting sun. He is smaller than Sybil. Normally he is quite handsome and elegant looking, but currently one can see his bones through his skin and his fur is matted and bloody due to his wounds. His eyes are the sea and sky upon the water's surface.
Personality: He is very cautious and calculating. He loves to explore and his senses and reflexes are the best that anyone has seen. Despite the cruelty shown to him, he is compassionate, gentle, honorable, loyal and trustworthy. His a valiant and steadfast warrior that will protect those he hold dear till he draws his last breath of life. He is a skilled healer.

Seeing Rose and Sayan run off, after the Siberian Tiger is freed. I follow the footsteps of Sybil and lie in wait for her near the entrance of her home. Then as she comes into range, I pounce.

Sage started wandering around the Haven. She wondered if the rest of her kind were there.

Tupic was upside down in the bat cave sleeping. He was having nightmares about the night the ship sunk and he had drifted out to see, thinking he would be dead by morning by either drowning or hypothermia. In the nightmare, he was stuck underwater and he was about to drown when a huge squid came by and ate him. He all of a sudden woke up and fell down on the hard rock floor and woke the others up. He sighed and just slept on the ground there since he was to tired to fly back up.

A little early for another character, but this is my last one...

Name: Zutrel
Species: Big octopus, but the orcas think he's a Kraken
Appearance: He's a little over the size of an orca. Ignore the ship. Also, credit to artist.
Personality: Very kind. Most orcas find him a mean and ruthless kraken. But he is kind to the bottom of his heart.
Goal: To one day hope the orcas will like him.

Shilise was getting sad at how things turned out. she wanted to leave but she didn't know were to go. she knew crocux was their in fact he went over and was trying to comfert him already. She just wanted to leave and be with Sozen for a bit. she sighed sadly, not knowing what to do.

"Actually, I might have an idea concerning that.," Sayan said standing beside Rose. And Mambo would be just the one he needed too-- if he still had it.

"Hey Mambo. I'm glad to see you. But I must tell you I cannot be trusted..." Rose said looking down.

"What do you mean? Are you moody because of the drought?" Mambo asked, not believing for a second that of Rose. He was so use to her sweet, innocent self that he wouldn't believe she was the one responsible for the messy terrain around Sybil's tree and gloomy roar from last night.

OOC: Sybil is already up her tree, but let's get along with it and just say she went down to see what food she could find. Anyway, great choice of characters. You and PwnageFTW are accepted, though do you mind control the orca carrying him as well? I kinda have a lot. And Spyroconvexity, PwnageFTW already specified that his character is a rather big octopus cofused with a kraken, sort of like your thunderbird

Sybil went down her tree to see if she could catch some fish, only to once again be pounced by AJ like yesterday. She just stood there on the ground.
"Gee, I can't believe you are still in the mood to play." she said in a stern voice, though it was not rude. In other circumstances, she would have played along, but with all the recent events, she was almost as bitter as Yodel himself, and couldn't understand why AJ wasted his energy in such harsh games when a drought was at large.

"You?" Mambo said skeptically, not wanting to assimilate something like that.
"Are you sure you didn't have a nightmare? Maybe you sleepwalked?" he then said, trying to make excuses for her.

OOC: By the way PwnageFTW, I think it would be great if your octopus character is near the Antartida with the orcas, given there are almost none at the Haven. Remember that the orcas are having their little misadventures that I post from time to time.

Mambo simply shook his head, and even gave a slight chuckle.
"Probably a nightmare while sleepwalking Rose. And Stripes was just too unfortunate enough to have been in the way at the moment." Mambo simply excused, still refusing to see the worst of Rose.

Sage was looking for somebody at the Haven. She wanted answers on what this place was.

"A kangaroo? So far from the Outback?" a voice said from the thicket, sounding very surprised. It was none other that Sholeh the mongoose, and she was recollecting lizards and insects as supplies for the drought.

Rose then felt her instincts starting to take over. "Mambo quickly......fly high!" She was trying hard to keep her instincts from taking over. Her claws came out and she was growling.

Mambo believed that she was just bluffing so that he could go away, but unfortunately, she was serious. Before Rose could give a deadly swipe, Cole came by as a guardian angel, or more like the bodyguard he was, and took Mambo with his talons and flew to a high palm tree, watching Rose from there.
"It looks like I came just in time." the bulky kea said, not believing his leader's stupidity at remaining still.
"She was bluffing." Mambo said, still refusing to see the truth.
"Boss please, I know you love Rose very much, but she can't help it. With this drought, everybody will have to rely on their instincts to feed, especially the carnivores. And they won't care who the victim is! This is just what Mr. Barloc warned us about." Cole lectured, with Mambo just contemplating Rose. He looked concerned, but not sad, though Cole knew his boss. He knew just how he was feeling.

Shi was starting to get scared at the turn of events. "Sozen can we leave?" with a worried tone in her voice.

OOC: Sure, I can play the orca that is bringing him as well.

"Wait... Rose! Come back!," Sayan called out. As he called out, the Rose landed on his nose almost causing him to sneeze. 'Her rose.,' he thought to himself. He picked the rose and tucked it behind one of his ears-- saving it for when he found the tiger. He then went to work; immediately following the tiger's trail with haste. He knew he had to find the tiger-- to calm her and to help protect her. He certainly wasn't going to give up on Rose now-- and he had a plan. He only hoped it would work and that she would go for it.

Sayan soon followed the trail and heard nearby crying. "Rose?...," he gently called out. He gently walked towards the source of crying. "It's okay... everything will be alright...," he gently called out again. He closely followed the scent to a small gap in the roots and the crying tiger contained within. "Shh.. It's okay. You can come out now. I'm here..," he gently said.

While Sybil remained at her tree without doing nothing at all. Mambo and Cole returned to their own home, with the former extremely disappointed. He had always been use to Rose's noble demeanor, it was hard for him to face reality. Much like Sybil, he had decided to remained withdrawn, trying to assimilate the situation.

Cairo and the pod made the Antarctic waters their temporary home, and while they loved the vast abundance of food, it was hard to adapt to the cold. While the food was abundant, they were worried on the strange creatures that could be lurking about those strange waters. Many of the orcas had traveled around the world to give transport to new sanctuary animals, but the had never went to such an extreme continent, so the ordeal was quite challenging.

"But you didn't and were able to regain control... that's what counts. And if you're interested, I have a solution that might just solve our problems.," Sayan coaxed. He would of course need the help of others to proceed, but it would hopefully give the tiger hope and encouragement.

Sage saw Sholeh, "Who are you?" She asked.

Shilise was shaking in fear from the shock of Rose attacking her. at the moment she was happy to be with Sozen, he made her feel safer in all the madness.

Crocux saw Rose take off with Sayan on her tail. the cobra notice this as well and the two fallowed. The cobra had felt betrayed by Sybil, so he wasn't to happy to arrive at her tree but remained quiet.

Soon, Sybil started to feel lonely. She then wondered if the cobra hated her for trying to banish his foster son. She even went as far as to think that if Crocux decided to turn against her again, he wouldn't interfere. But that was the least of her problems right now. She was so mad at whoever released Rose, cause that would mean anyone would be at risk if she behaved like she did last night. She had enough about trying to do the right thing. If somebody was going to tie up Rose and the other predators, they could do it, just leave her out of it. She was even starting to regret not taking in Barloc's offer. She truly believed that right now, she and the other herbivores and omnivores of the island would have to fend for themselves in the desperate time to come...

Sage saw Sholeh, "Who are you?" She asked.

"Me? I'm the original owner of this island... before it turned into a sanctuary of course." Sholeh said, in her common air.
"But enough about me. What are you doing so far from the outback?" she asked, failing to realize that the outback wasn't the only place in the world that held kangaroos.

Crocux saw Sybil but he didn't hate her for what she tried to do, he knew that she was doing what she thought was best and didn't condemn her for it. the cobra on the other hand was a different story all together. he was furious, luckily he didn't notice her as he slithered up to the opening to try to reassure Rose "we'll all help you. I promise. I'll go get you something to eat. the only reason why your instincts are acting up is because your hungry after all." and he turned around to go get something for her. once the cobra was gone and out of ear shot Crocux went up to Sybil and said "hey you ok Sybil?"

Sybil showed her head from the cavity of her tree to look at him.
"Oh, it's you. Have you come to hate me too? For trying to banish an animal that, by the way, wanted to kill you but then turned out to be like a brother!?" Sybil asked furiously, not even afraid of Crocux. She was so mad of everyone seemingly turning against her every time she took a decision she believed it was best for anyone.

"If it means I am keept from harming my friends and others." Rose looked at Sayan with tears in her eyes. "Please help me."

Sayan nodded, reassuring the tiger. "Don't worry-- we'll get through this. Once our friend returns with a snack, we'll be on our way.," he said.

"You don't need to know that," Sage said. "What is this place called, anyway."

OOC: redwes, remember that the cobra also offered to help Rose.

"Mostly just the Haven." Sholeh answered, though quite upset on how rude the kangaroo was.
"Or that's how it was usually known. You came at a bad time lady. There is a drought coming by and many of us need to work extra hard to keep ourselves fed." Sholeh then warned, showing the lizard she had trapped below her paw to prove her point.

"Kangaroos don't eat much," Sage said. "I should be good, but maybe I should get food anyway and find a place to live."

Crocux shook his head "no not really. You were only doing what you thought was best for the haven and i respect that. Dad on the other hand is furious with you. Saris thought i betrayed him and he wanted pay back but one he learned the whole story he was in shock. He hated himself for his own incompatince and anger. He disn't want to feel unwelcome here so he left heading to the out back. He wont come back until A: you make him feel welcome here and B: he feels like when he does come back it will be with his head held high. I'm not proud of the choice i made back then but it was the right thing to do. So the question is are you willing to do the right thing even if you don't like it? Because if you can'tthen i might as well be incharge of Haven."

The cobra came back with a fresh kill, a large lizard, when Rise poped Sayan the question. He sat their and waited to see how Sayan would respond.

Shilise continued to shake in Sozen's grip still shaken up about what happened. "hey Sozen? Where are we going?" she really didn't care where they went but she did care if it was safe or not.

Jack took a break from the pots and went to check up on Sybil. On the way their he grabbed an apple and was eating it as he walked along. He was completly unaware of everything that transpired.

Sayan initially stood there in shock, never expecting to hear such a question. A million questions went through his head, but he soon came up with an answer. "Yes... you can be my mate.," he firmly said looking the tiger in the eyes.

Sybil felt insulted when it looked like Crocux was lecturing her. And it went worse especially with that last sentence.
"The right thing is always different from everybody's perspective! What is right for me may be the worse of things to others. You should know." Sybil yelled, as if trying to remind him how he was just in the same position as the cobra just a few days ago.
"And to make matters worse, just look at Rose! Somebody released her without even consulting me. If everybody's going to take such extreme decisions behind my back, then go ahead! I'm tired to try and make things right for everybody if I'm just going to receive pain and hate in return!" Sybil expressed, evidently holding out her desire to scream in frustration.

Shi felt a little better at that. At least it was somewere she knew and it was safe. then she realized something. They were going to his place, alone! She got nevuse but tried to calm down. She did have one question that was nagging her though. Was Sozen interested in a romantic relastionship, and if so was he interestid in having one with her? She started getting afraid wondering if he would want one or not. She was mostly getting the fear of rejection. "oh that's redicules" she said to herself "of corse he would. Why else would dad wanted to talk with Sozen alone in the first place"(keep in mind she's thonking this) she decided that once they got to Sozens cave she would ask him.

The cobra smiled happy for the two. He went up to them and said "well congradulations. I know it isn't much but here's my gift for you two love birds." giving Rose the lizard.

At the kea's tree, there was some activity. The parrots were trying to cheer up their leader after he was going through some depression because of what happened to Rose. Never in his life has he grown so fond of one animal, and seeing her gave in on such cruel instincts was a painful stab. Coles brother Cheryl on the other hand, had other things in mind. She needed to know how Rose was doing, being careful around her of course, so without any of the parrots noticing, she flew off in search for the young tiger...

He sighed saying "yes that is true i was in the same position as my father is in a few days ago. But my anger was pointless and unreasonable, dad has a pritty good reason to be angry with you that's hard to argue with. But he wouldn't go as far as to try to kill you. As for the Rose thing i think that was also my dad's doing. When i sent Shi to get him he was probably taking percasions and thought that we needed all the help we can get. Besides i make a terrible leader, last time i was in charge of something it was to make sure Jack didn't run off to prank someone. Next thing i knew about nearly every single human within a mile was trying to kill us. You're a good leader but your going about it all wrong. You're trying to take responsabilaty for everything when you should only let others help you lead some times. Also you're taking things way to personally, you should try to take something from a different perspective. For example take how my dad is angry at you, you're taking it as if he doesn't respect you're athoraty or your desisions. Try thinking about what he's going through, he just got back a son who he thought was dead for years now and then as soon as he gets him back someone tears him away and will probably never see him again. When thing where starting to look up for him with his family coming back together again it starts to fall apart. For all he knows it's all because of a grochy, ill tempered civit that did it all because she was having a bad day." he faced her looking her in the eyes and said "from what i see, i see a angry civit that's lashing out at everyone that cares about her not even considering the consiquenses of her own actions, tearing apart familys, yelling and insulting those that care about her when some of them are only trying to help, and all because she's having a bad day." his voice was sturn as he stood his ground only trying to help the civit wether she liked it or not.

Rose hugged Sayan and smiled. She then picked up the lizard and put it between her and Sayan. Rose then riped it in half waiting for Sayan to take his half.

Sayan smiled and took his half of the lizard.

Shilise hopped in and looked at Sozen and said nervusly "um, Sozen? Can i um, ask you someting?"

The cobra smiled at them happy that they're happy.

Sybil in turn, just glared at Crocux, assimilating everything that he had said.
"So it was the dear cobra's doing. He released Rose without MY permission, endangering everyone, and now he despises me for trying to save YOUR life!" Sybil said furiously, finding it ironic on how she went from liking the cobra for saving her from Crocux, to be truly angry at him.
"It doesn't matter now Crocux! Soon, it's only a matter of time before you too turn against the weaker ones. I will also have to stay away from you. That's just how cruel nature is! I understand that now." Sybil said calmly yet sternly, finally taking Barloc's warning by heart. She then disappeared into the cavity of her tree, not wanting to continue the conversation.
