Hello,

I am Bloody-Hound the founder of ProjectSupairo, a group hoping to get the rights to The Legend of Spyro game rights to create a film trilogy out of it.

And here I am, hoping to make this movie possible. I have organized certain jobs for the films production. If we are lucky enough to collaborate with Activision we will get these movies out in cinemas and may even stream it on YouTube, for a cheaper price.

If you wish to help in modelling or animating, you NEED to use Blender.

You can't seriously expect to get IP rights of a multimillion dollar franchise for free, or even via kickstarter if it doesn't get C&Ded right away . Activision will just ignore it, and I wouldn't really be asking for workers for something you aren't certain it's going to work.

It will never work I don't think they would let you take it and give him the respect he deserve.

I wouldn't count on a fan movie triology giving any respect either, especially put together like this and with so little grasp on how rights work.

And also if you mispelled the word trilogy they won't take you seriously and whatever we don't have any proof of what you re saying.

Why do you think I joined the mlp fandom because I want to get the fanmade game,movie and yes even creepypasta of fan songs I want if my own fandom can't do it what's the point of keeping those ideas alive if it go nowhere.I do not like saying that at all but the spyro fandom is dead.

Even if I do want to make a revival project I am sure I won't get any help and it will die out with me unable to complete it on my own(can only write) so for spyro movies to happen it's extremely unlikely and even if yes acticash(yes I call it like that) will want you to use skylanders and make it for really small children.

Well, the main thing is, a fan project takes professionalism and dedication - deciding this next semester you'll do a movie isn't enough, you have to prepare your mind to tirelessly stay years upon years on this because you don't have a professional group, and the people you hire should be no different - spoiler alert, they will, because artists usually have low attention spans and change fandoms as the hype goes. Unfotunately, you can't expect that much, which is why most fandoms settle for comic series and short, but plentiful, standalone animations.

So why is there no fan videos based on spyro

Well, there's no real subject to discuss if you don't have permission, unless you're okay with the thread sinking to the bottom of the page.

On ambition, you're totally right, Drawdler. You see people showing up with huge projects after doing their first run cycle or box game prototype, while in others like MLP we saw people start 5 years ago with funny pony walks, to quick battle scenes inspired by anime, to full short films and music videos. You gotta be realistic, not try to live off of hype that won't last forever.

You know, comments like that aren't going to slow me down, if it doesn't work at least I can say I tried. Besides, it depends how you adapt the game to the big screen, what elements you include.

Why do you even want to do this?

Like, what makes you think you have a chance? Skylanders is Actis focus and not LoS.

I want to do this because I have a passion for film and childhood games. Besides, It NOT skylanders I'm after because frankly... those games SUCK! I'm choosing LoS because its the Spyro games I grew up with.

You mean, how much you'll have to pay for copyright infringement or how many fans will try to put their self insert in it and threaten to leave if you don't comply?

Skylanders sucking is subjective. And that's the one getting a show with Spyro in it.

So there's no point in getting interest that might come crashing down if denied. Might as well leave it to the blog and wait for the response instead of expecting people here to believe this and dedicate their art to this for free; I'll be the first one to say that this is almost shady to ask of people at this point.

Oh, you mean that part of the year Acti is on vacation? That devs and support alike don't respond at all? Oh man, if you actually used official support, someone trolled you hard.

Well, look at Project Frixion, they haven't even got close to contacting Activison and they have full scripts done, full concept art done and even models being made, they even have voice actors and animators doing the film already.

Yeah, and that project is mostly dead and causing drama to this day. What a thing to look up to long after it ended.

It had good intentions though, but as I mentioned, too much ambition for people who weren't going to stay dedicated
So many year later, it should be a lesson on how to fix a project by using their mistakes, not on how to make one.

Uh... I believe it was... the personal email, I can't really remember, but it was around 4-5 weeks ago

Sigh, then if you don't get anything conclusive or get throughly trolled, don't say we didn't warn you. Again, they do NOT work on holidays, even emergencies like game patches and legalese permissions.

Well my thoughts were right no way this could be accomplish...

Bloody-Hound Activision will never, and i mean NEVER give the rights to there games to ....(no offense)....an unknown movie maker. Not to mech'in, you don't even have your own studio....your asking for outside help for Animators, Modelers and Artists for cry'in out loud. Even the big main studios takes months...somtimes even years to work out a deals. Call and ask Disney or even Pixar how long it takes to get the corporations to release the rights to there merchandise. Hell ask Avtivision how long it tolk to get Nentendo to let them put Bowser an Donkey Kong in there game....you will not belive the paperwork they had to go thru to get Nintendo to let them model the figures themselves...and thats just for starters. I would be very surprised if they even respond your e-mail at all.

I highly doubt it will amount to anything, but hey man, try it if you think you can do something.
