She looks great! The coloring seems to be a reference to something, but I can't tell who it might be based on :I

Thanks everyone! Yeah, just tried to make her unique. To me the original figure just seemed kinda blah.

Neon Terrafin
My first core in my Neon series. I really want to do this because I thought it would look nice, but mainly because I love Terrafin gameplay-wise and want to use his other path. I have my main Terrafin on the top path, with burrowing. The bottom path, with punching upgrades, would be more awesome. (I always have main figures on the top path and repaints on the bottom path)

The pink teeth and markings look a bit much against the orange, but other than that it looks nice.

Ran into a few problems with the Undead Square project, again(mainly 2013 me forgot to check that the cardboard is waay bigger than the space the shelf will have), so while I don't get the nice rectangle of glass in its place, I'll be doing something else. With recent news of Count Moneybone in SC with that amazing-looking car, I rememebered how much I love the character, and decided he deserves a custom as much as Golden Queen. Going to focus on the wiring for now - he'll definately be his ingame size(slightly taller than Swapper or smaller than Trap Master), so that means less polymer clay and opportunity to make a nicer pose. Also going to try having him with at least one hand in a good position to fit the handles of the Land Trophy so he'll be actually functional. Maybe won't work if it's too heavy or big, but then I'll just keep the scepter in its place.

New to this, and these are probably going to be tweaked more.

The wife had the nieces painting fingernails and I looked at the nail polish and thought to myself hmmm...
I can't quite capture the deep iridescent sparkle on "Evil Cynder" with photos.

I was just messing around with Spyro when I got the odd Joker-esque combinations.
I made Drobot silver with spray paint, going to redo his base completely someday too.

Yes ..they look nice...just hope they dry well....this type of PVC dosen't like enamel's and they tend to remain tacky.

Yeah, I had previously tried some gloss spray paint, but some of it was pretty sticky and so there's a couple I definitely won't show. It's a fun process of discovery to me. So far these nail polish ones are drying well.

I love your blue Prism Break and Sequoia Rex/Barkley. I was going for that deep, rich kind of color like you got in the wood.

thanks bro(if your a bro...hee hee) Anyways i only use acrylics...Tamiya, Model Master Acryl and some air brush acrylic called Createx. I look was done with Tamiya Clear Red...then once it was dry i used Model Master Acryl Flat Clear Acryl...because Tamiya Clear Red is a glossy paint when dry.

Someone did it by using paint thinner but on Flashwing,and with very careful dipping.Here, it's offsite.


Bringing this back from the dead(probably not since it's an edit), some progress in that Count Moneybone custom figure I was talking about:



The phone's camera makes this look tons worse than it is,but I don't have time to look for another one. I did a face in clay right for once,yay - but I'll have to paint black spots in the skull since the jaw just wasn't going to stay in place like a real skull with the material, and have his mustache made of something else since it'd snap in half once baked. At least it won't need too much painting other than that since I have the clay in the right colors.

I'm currently working on a Frighful Crypt Crusher, to go with Frightful Fiesta. (And yes, I will do this whith all variants that don't have an in-game matching set. Next one I'll probably do is Dark Stealth Stinger.)

So, after a loooong time planning this out only for Superchargers to butt him back in...



Iiiit's Moneybone! Undercooked clay and somehow standing diagonally in the base(I'm not finding out if pulling the hot glue will be a good idea), but I think I did a much better job than Golden Queen.

I should've done the eyes flat though, it's like the Perspective Gate is sucking the white one out of the socket.

Maybe you could use bike spokes for leg support.

I've been using armatures already(just regular thin wire so I don't strain myself bending it), the problem is that the instructions said 20m to cook and since he's thin(the insides are mostly aluminium paper) I took that to heart; then after he was painted and done I twisted a leg on accident and it just opened like the clay was still raw. :I
Definately going for at least 23 now, for the next figures which I already have something in mind for.

Hey Phoenix_Lord, I mentioned that I loved your shiny blue Prism Break. Well, it inspired my next direction.

Nice looking Mattlander...need to touch up the croc's tongue...unless your going for that chow chow look...lol.

I didn't notice the tongue until I was taking the pics. I'll fix that, but until then he'll be a shiny blue croc/chow chow hybrid. You know, I didn't notice until I did this, but because of Snap Shot's horns, he looks like he's got a little bit of dragon going on too.

Yeah I love Gnarly's blue. This morning I was touching him up a little too. I have a few portals that I keep plugged in to a computer so they're always on. The ugly/strange dingy-yet-bright orange light on his hand always bugged me, so I covered it in that blue too, now I pretty much just see his awesome green eyes lit up.

Edit: ... oh now I get it. Bodacious... totally "badical" dude!

There are a couple smears, but I think it looks decent, even though I completely screwed up the front wheels. Also, in picture number tree, it looks like the hands have some orange paint, but it's just reflecting the orange.

Yeah..it looks good...the only advice i could give you is.....slow down....you don't need to paint so fast...take you time...you will like the outcome.

So... I just bought a second Dive-Clops, and I was going to custom him to match the colors of spring ahead dive bomber. But, looking at him now, a second idea just popped into my head. A football themed Dive clops, with his body painted like a football helmet, and the torpedo painted like a football. What do you think I should customize him as?

I wanna make a custom spitfire to match the Golden hot streak. I don't have golden hotstreak, but I thought it would look cool... what do you guys suggest...

Finally got round to making my own custom skylanders. I've decided to paint as many as all of the crystal gems, so far I have made: Amethyst (Roller Brawl), Garnet (Sprocket) and Peridot (HD Sprocket), as well as some other unrelated. I will probably post pictures of them.

Just completed a 'Candy Cane' Series 3 Stealth Elf. I will try to post pictures when I have some time.

I have a Dark Dino Rang and a Lucky Pop Fizz. Dark Dino Rang has black skin, silver armor, and blue spikes on his back. Lucky Pop Fizz has green fur with a red raccoon-like mask over his eyes, and he has silver and black gloves. Yeah, Lucky Pop Fizz is kind of random. I just pick my favorite colors and used those to paint him with.

I also have a ton of spare Skylanders which I plan to paint after the holidays. Here's what I have and what my current plans are:

• Tree Rex - Autumn Tree Rex - Tree Rex with yellow and orange armor, with a lighter, shinier brown colored skin. The leaves on his base are colored orange and yellow.
  
• 2 Barkleys - First one: Autumn Barkley - Exact same thing as Autumn Tree Rex - Second one: Undecided.
  
• Ignitor (Series 2) - Volcanic Ignitor - Ignitor, but with the same color scheme as Volcanic Eruptor. Black armor with golden edges.
  
• Cynder (Series 2) - Malefor - A WORKING figure of Malefor made from Cynder.
  
• Free Ranger - Tempest Free Ranger - Free Ranger with brown feathers and red and purple armor. His eyes are now yellow.
  
• Rattle Snake - Roundup Rattle Shake - Rattle Shake with orange scales. His eyes and the diamond shapes on his scales are blue. His hat and shirt are a much lighter brown.
  

No photos yet because they're in a kinda messy place while I don't bake them,but doing three more custom figures - a King Chompy like the one in the first world of SSC, an Enfuego Chompy because they're the best,and a fanmade design from me that I'd really like to send to the devs or something if the shipping wasn't atrocious ;w; I won't spoil the surprise but it's a Magic themed chompy.

They're finally done! Two known chompies and one based on Spyro(kind of a homage to the series, thank you gift that I can't deliver and whatnot). First attempt doing textures on that last one too, the scales feel quite nice under the overly sticky paint.

I think I'll have to sell at least the two normal guys because I need to make up for the expensive polymer clay, but I'll enjoy their presence on my desk for a bit .w.
