What's the strangest story/concept you've ever come up with?

Girl goes to a flea market where she finds a stone that says "Imagine" on it, which gives her the ability to go to a fantasy land and turn into a dragon that controls aura. There wasn't even a plot twist that she was imagining it all. It all really happened in the story. There was no connection to the land or the stone.

Elementary school was a strange time.

It's hard to tell. A lot I developed from some weird dreams, but over time I lose interest and just forget about them.

Currently,though, I have two: a sort of game idea where your character has the ability to respawn - as in, the guy(which iirc could be anyone in a clan of wizard thieves LOOK MY DREAMS ARE WEIRD) would get killed, and wake up the next day in an alley with no injury even if his other body is probably around somewhere. There's also some stuff to do with the wizard city they live in where people treat not using wands as weird and a bad omen but it's nowhere as weird as the concept of the main power.

Another is something I dreamed up waaaay before Inside Out before anyone asks - it's a woman space... Something with a ton of problems with her crew, at one point she goes rogue-mid mission and they appear to her as manifestations of emotions while she tries to solve the objective alone - like Worry is a scaredy cat skeleton who'll frantically heal people based on the team medic, or Fear is based on the woman herself who's always suspecting someone and will jump at the slightest hint of treason. Yes,there are aliens and hallucinations involved.

I really want to make something out of those two someday, so I won't go into detail about how either ends.

I never took the time to write either one, but I once had plans for two Phantasy Star Online fanfics: One where the main characters protect a mall from... I forgot tbh oops.

The second one would have involved those same protagonists working at a pizza place and getting an order from... Olga Flow.

The last one somehow managed to become an inside joke with my friends and I whenever we play the game.

Strangest? Hmm, I believe it was that each person was born split up into two people, one that harbors the "darkness" in them, and the other that contains the "goodness". Twins you could say I suppose. As such, the "evil" twins were practically disowned, abandoned, and experienced horrible conditions and racism. I dropped it and haven't really thought about it any more.

Something like that, except it was in the real world, the stone was a talisman, the dragon could control lightning and water, and it eventually made her go insane and try to kill the other dragons.

Wolves discover that their souls are of dragons and they need to unlock their dragon forms to stop a war between the wolves and dragons.

The one I'm writing now isn't really weird, but eh, I still consider it strange.

It's about how centuries ago some new species alien to humans visits their world (this isn't set on earth btw it's a fantasy world) and tricks them to form half-breeds, half human and half the alien species (you know how this can happen I don't need to explain in detail), and the unknown species eventually no longer existed leaving just the half-breeds with their bloodline and no one knows why. People have come up with theories to why this has happened though, such as demons creating them and sending them to the human planet to **ck **it up, and many relate the no-name species to demons because of them being an incarnation of darkness. The half-breeds however have the human side as very dominate end hence they don't have the demonic personality. The humans centuries later decide to perform experiments on these half-breeds once they've become more advanced in technology for corrupted reasons like seeing if they can gain the half-breed's power since they're naturally stronger. I've noticed that a lot of films that have other species, like half-breeds, vampires, werewolves, etc, society naturally accepts them. So I decided to make a series where the situation is that they're not treated well, so some are used in experiments that are just as gruesome as animal testing (if not worse), their horns are cut off at birth so that they don't have an advantage over humans, and more.

Also the spiritual realm, the fantasy planet's equivalent to heaven, can be visited by using a device which creates a realistic hologram of the human's body which is placed into the spiritual world, and they see through the hologram's eyes. Kind of like what you would do if you played a realistic game like Sword Art Online. The main character visits this place and acts as a spy, since since a clan, who's original plan was supposed to be about stopping the half-breed experimentation, grew corrupted instead, and their headquarters is held there.

I still don't know if I should create a reason for the unknown species visiting humans or if I should keep it as something that's unknown. I was thinking the later since it keeps some things a mystery and allows theories and stuff. I'm thinking in terms of this being a published novel. I also don't know if the unknown species should be made up or if they should be actual demons. I was thinking the former since I think it suits the world more, and if I use demons then I will probably have to include angles in the story-line as well and they can't really 'no longer exist' like the made up species.

A Modern Day Imperial Japan from an alternate universe where the Axis Powers won WWII rises out of the ocean right next to real life Japan and they end up blowing each other up!

You can use it if you want. It was mean't to be a joke......Making fun of people who are obsessed with dragons and wolves.


Like would it be interesting if it was something else other than dragons and wolves? Like humans and Ancient beings or something?

• Once again when I was 10, a Club Penguin letter/story(it was a weird time at 10 years old for my creative mind)
  


• a pirate captain named Pete climbs up a mountain at a 90 degree angle with nothing to help him to reach some treasure which was actually inside his house(Surprisingly, this won the best piece of writing in my class at the time. I was also in P2 so I was 6 at the time).
  

I have much better ideas for stories now compared to the ones when I was younger.

I'm currently working on another writing idea that I'm trying to turn into a novel, so I won't share it here.


Only one I can think of is one I made when I was 10. It was some stupid "person finds dragon, person befriends dragon, person rides dragon" story, and basically the main character is a rip-off of Hiccup in the How To Train You Dragon movie. Also, I kept adding **** that had nothing to do with the plot in.


I cringe even thinking about it.

As an aspiring game designer, I have a bunch of game ideas, but one of them is a bit on the "artsy fartsy 2deep4me" storytelling side.

As part of the lore, a race of beings (the player character would be part of it) pretty much handles everything through using a kind of spiritual energy. It can be channeled in many different ways so they use it for more or less everything they do. One of the primary methods of use would be abilities related to the energy in the mind, like psychokinesis.

However, this also includes sexual reproduction - they have sex by telepathically linking (I'm thinking I'll have a physical action be required for that to happen) and literally sharing thoughts of extreme love, which causes them amazing physical and emotional stimulation as they go through the process. These thoughts form an energy concentration inside of the female, which eventually takes shape as a baby within the mother. The baby's base personality and appearance would be formed by the mother's thoughts over the time for which she is pregnant.

And no, they wouldn't exactly look human. I don't picture the females having breasts and what not and the males having penises or anything either, since they wouldn't be required for the sexual reproduction anyway.

I still think it's a weird concept, but I dunno, I thought it would lead to some really interesting storytelling possibilities, as part of the greater lore and gameplay.

If you mean our dumbest idea then something similar to the Skyrim soundtrack...on kazoos.

Then again, almost all of my ideas are fantasy based. So i would base most of my ideas on a Skyrim/LOtR soundtrack lol.

Well species swapping a few of my characters so they know the other's pain. The weird part probably being the species aspect. Since basically one's getting legs and the other is losing legs.

There's others, though I kind of want to turn those into stories. But feel free to ask about it if you want.

The music would start out lighthearted, but it would gradually get darker and darker as she became more and more insane, and then at the end it would be lower and sadder.
