Quote: TakeYourLemonsI really hate having to buy a character for a game I've already beaten...I really wish they could find a way to get all figures (even if limited) in the first 60 days of release.
Which is exactly why my wife and I break up new gameplay over the course of the entire run of each game, until the final wave of characters is released.
Quote: Earth-DragonQuote: angelgIS there some evidence that Thrillipede will come out in wave 3 or 4? What should be the expected date releases of these waves?
Thrillipede is looking to be this year's Wham Shell
Is this a reversal of your opinion? Because when I said something similar in another thread (albeit referencing the Yawn Traps against Nightfall versus Wham Shell against Thrillipede), you responded:
Quote: Earth-DragonAn actual skylander is a MUCH higher priority then a repetitive trap. Almost every store I've been to trying to do the initial hunts had dozens of water traps on the shelves. Some might order more, if they were able to move the overstock of water. Another dumb distribution move.
So...are all characters going to be high priority and seemingly guaranteed to come out, or are they going to be incredibly rare with some areas never receiving stock (ala the Yawn Traps and lots of areas with Wham Shell)?
It could be argued that tons of stock left on the pegs is what lead to the lack of availability of both the Yawn Traps and Wham Shell. If wave 1, 2, etc., SuperChargers stock doesn't move as Activision anticipates, we might have a very hard time finding later characters, if at all. Right?
