Usually Mirror Mode is just the track, well, mirrored.

Excactly this. For example, in Mario Kart, where you turn left is where you turn right in Mirror Cup

Thats not even true. I unlocked Mirror Mode yesterday on Mario Kart and when I turn left I go left. The track just changes.

Well on one of FamilyGamerTV's videos they pressed some type of button where you can see your Skylander and not what your doing

The easiest way to describe it is that the courses are flipped.

...Huh, was watching a compilation of tracks from Tealgamemaster to hear the songs and definately not try to learn the tracks better, Dive-Clops appears to sound muffled like Nightfall. Can't be a feature of Sea vehicles because the video where we first found her laughing was in Dragon Spine. At least this seems to point that the voice tracks in the official site don't have these filters on purpose, not because they're like that ingame. Most likely so people can hear it better.

they're just called the Land, Sea, and Sky Racing Action Packs, Lemon. Sea comes with Golden Queen trophy and Gill Grunt, Sky comes with Wolfgang trophy and Astroblast, and Land comes with Moneybone trophy and an unknown Skylander, presumably Trigger Happy.

Cool, so only three racing packs? Doing the budget thing.

Honestly, I think the trophies look way better than Adventure Pack figures, mostly because they have villains on them, and they'll probably be the closest thing we get to villain figures for at least a year.

There is still a small chance that comic might be non-canon but I doubt it.
Indeed curious to read it anyway, maybe they will simply explain how exactly they were called inside the Skylands and what they were doing right before that.

That would still improve the existing lore without adding anything which might remotely hint at them being more than nice extra features, except for that.

Have you not seen any of the gameplay videos? Before asking for a Skylander, the Portal says "Please place a vehicle..." and then "Place a Skylander.."
That and the fact that every video shown has a vehicle on the portal at all times

Correct. I know what they're offering, it's giving me the probably unfounded feeling that the kiosk only promotes the "lesser" titles. I don't consider the Wii U the "lesser" title, only the Racing games (Wii and 3DS).

It didn't say anything about preorder, but it does look like they only care that you get one of the Nintendo platforms. Wow. they're REALLY trying to get people hooked on Nintendo this time around. But a book I can read in 3-4 minutes? Not enough temptation for me.

But really,this is looking like it's the season 2 Issue 4 comic(1-3 is Rift into Overdrive), only people who really want to see more of the amiibolanders here and now will have any interest - this should be out in January for everyone.
