So I was at Five Below yesterday and they had the full Giants game for Wii U, for $5 of course. I have seen regular and Giants characters for $5, but the entire game! Also, this was the full game, not the portal owners pack.

I got mine $20 at EB Games last week. What a shame.

I don't even know what store Five Below is, but as far as I know, according to the name, everything for five dollars or less?

It's a small chain in the Eastern US. Yes, all items are $5 or less, but even some of their items are sort of overpriced, like Pokemon cards.

Well the game is pretty much worth $5 at this point

I'd assume Spyro's Adventure would cost around $2 rn

Confirmed seeing it there, plus there's a lot of some of the last release Giants like S2 Spyro and S2 Wrecking Ball.

I'm actually surprised, I haven't seen SSA anywhere except the occasional Walmart where its still priced at $30-$40 for some reason. The only thing I can guess is that there's still a lot of Giants merchanside floating around out there. I picked up a PS3 Giants pack about 6 months ago to piecemeal out for about $15, and I STILL see Giants figures in stores from time to time.

After the SSA stock fiasco, they must have really made a lot of Giants figures (and the last wave of SSA figures) for them to still be scooting around in storerooms. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there's much they can do with them besides hoping someone will want to grab them or destroy them. They should have some sort of giveaway with them or have stores give them out when you buy a new one or something. It's painful to see them still and think that they're likely blocking new figures from coming out onto shelves.

I'd say it has a lot to do with it being the Wii U version.

The Wii U had a pretty lack-luster launch sales-wise and most Skylanders fans didn't want to wait a month for the Wii U release, so they picked up the Wii version at release and, *if* they picked up a Wii U, they probably just played the Wii version on it.

Just my guess.

Now all they need to sell are Yawn traps...

You never know, single pack (non Easter packaged) punk shock showed up there after trap team came out.

Is this below 5 dollar shop similar to The 2 dollar shop? because i got told they sold minecraft stuff so might there be a chance there might be skylanders?

Got mine there. The cashier was extremely surprised to see how the whole pack was the exact same price as the single figures themselves.

Wow, that's really interesting, even though I already have Giants for Wii. I don't have a Five Below where I currently live (Port Charlotte, FL) but one will be opening near me soon, so maybe I can score on some more Skylanders again.

I stopped by a Five Below several weeks ago looking for one of these without any luck. I figured they got in a small shipment and sold out. Well I stopped by a different location today and they had a ton of these Giants Wii U starter packs at $5. I finally picked one up since I only had the PS3 version. My Wii U sees much more playtime these days anyway.

I highly doubt 2n5 will sell Skylanders .

It came out late, on the same day as the release of the WiiU. Similar to Swap Force how they came out for the XB1/PS4 when the systems came out.

Oddly enough, I think in Japan only SSA also was ported to WiiU. They did a re-run on things like the Darklight Crypt pack for that market.
