There is absolutely no way that Scott would give that information out to a random person on the internet and then tell him to make an announcement instead of making one himself.

Well, Dawko isn't exactly a "random guy on the web" he does a lot of FNaF vids on youtube, and I wouldn't be surprised if he talks with Scott fairly often. I remember something about him doing a fundraiser to play a FnaF game, his goal was 15k, and Scott came in and donated over 200k to him.

And what is it about anyway? The release date? If so, Scott's obviously going to reveal that, not just rely on someone to do it for him.

EDIT: The new release date is from Scott's INDB page, so it IS real.

And it's Aug 8th.

I get that Scott makes these games for next to nothing and they don't take much time to program compared to other indie games; and I hold a lot of respect for Scott for making a series this great; but seriously, SLOW DOWN. The franchise is only a year old and we already have 4 games. It's okay to take your time with these games.

This franchise would've kept interest high for a long while just by the lore and theories alone.

Even still, releasing the sequels on a 3-6 month average is still really excessive for any franchise, independent or not. and as most everyone knows already, this franchise is just barely a year old.

okay, now that my fanboy freakout is over...

I still stand by what i said about the whole "rushed sequels" thing earlier, but god, how does Scott still manage to make each entry look awesome? I was really doubtful about this game before, but now that I've seen the actual game, I'm convinced it will be good. The setting and the atmosphere are looking a lot more isolated and personal than the previous entries with the house setting, and the overall aesthetic looks horrifying now that I've seen it in action.

The only thing i'm concerned about is how the A.I. is going to be handled. I really hope it isn't frustratingly difficult like FNaF2 and some of 3 was, and is more unpredictable like Springtrap was in 3.

Looking at it, I think Plushtrap is the new puppet.

The light was shined on him, so he quickly jumped back in his seat.

I do NOT want to see his jumpscare....

That trailer looked EXTREMELY rushed.

what if

the player character of FNaF 4

IS A CRAZY DENTIST???

think about it

Each animatronic has an excessive amount of teeth, from Fredbear's(or whatever his name is) stomach teeth to the cupcake even having razor sharp teeth

what if the crazy dentist hated how the animatronics had bad hygiene, so he took them to his house so he could give them a dentist appointment??? and then that backfired because the animatronics are haunted???

but wait, we need to look closer

the nightmare animatronics are really beat up, but why are they like that?

what if the crazy dentist destroyed the animatronics first and then realized they had a lot of cavities, so then he had to rebuild them in order to give them a proper looking at their teeth??

but here's the mind-blowing part: who else tried to destroy animatronics in the entire FNaF storyline???

Shhhhh, that wasn't meant to go anywhere, and idk if I'll ever work on it now that F4 is a thing.

Anyone else notice the '49' in the top right corner of the screen when Plushtrap was on?

And the new scream sounds like all of the previous screams put together and slowed down.

the 49 is probably keeping track of battery life for that flashlight, as before it was used in the vid it said 50.

Also, we now have movement in real time, and what looks to be a lack of cameras...

I find them terrifyingly cute....

The creepy thing about this game is that it takes place in a house... When I go to sleep tonight, I better not see anything unusual. This game looks like a Gmod horror map + Among the Sleep.

Also notice how most characters move now. The only character we saw move in fnaf series was foxy. When he sprited down the hall. Now look nightmare chica leaning away from the hall way. Plush trap rushing back in the chair then minis Freddys spazzing.

Don't forget that Springtrap/Phantom Freddy had a lot of movement.

I like how it's turning out, especially if it is free roam like the trailer suggests. I might actually get this one.

It does kind of upset me that we haven't gotten an actual look at Freddy in this game just yet. That thing with the chest teeth I can understand not showing just yet, but I'm surprised Freddy himself doesn't make an appearance at all.

Looks like Scott really likes Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th.
