Possible, but i'd say they'd possibly go with Chef Pepper Jack over Wolfgang as sad as that would make me.

Chef Pepper Jack did have a zeppelin after all and since they seem to be tipped more towards Fire and Life characters those 2 would make sense.

Do you think 1 or 2 other villains might get trophies?

Has there actually been any confirmation of being able to play as kaos with the kaos trophy? I know we've seen gameplay of him racing, but is it possible that was a computer racing?

The reason I ask, is what if the "Trophies" unlock a battle race with Kaos/the Doom Raider who the trophy belongs to? Potentially unlocking a "Cup" like in Mario Kart where theres 4 races all against the villain?

I'm actually hoping that won't be the case. As much as I like playing with villains and kaos, if were allowed to, I would prefer actual figures, not trophies. My first thought seeing the kaos trophy was of a mario kart cup. I'm really hoping that by putting the trophy on the portal you unlock "Kaos Cup" and its 4 races against Kaos. Put Golden Queen Trophy on and you unlock "Golden Queen Cup" with 4 races against her.

I guess they heard us when we wanted villain toys, and this is their way of doing it.

looking at those pictures and that trophy and they're called racing action packs - they're the new way of getting adventure packs. I fully expect them to have just races against that villain for a zone. I don't see them as playable by the way its worded. If the slim chance they are, it's possibly confined to an area for story purposes, but seeing as dark said it's race as villians it's more or less just racing as them.

on the matter of pop fizz - CALLED IT Every character that is a supercharger walks on two legs. EVERY LAST ONE. all the eons elite share this quality as well. That's the theme of this game. It's a two legged entry only.

I have to admit I'm liking the light and dark characters and splat and her boat. Pop fizz is a semi worthwhile one with the hovercraft

Can't say Pop Fizz is really doing it for me. I was hoping they would put a new spin on his transformation gimmick, but it looks like he's going to be based around a tuba-blowing-bubbles gimmick instead.


Splat, on the other hand, has suddenly won me over. Really adorable design and a magic paintbrush gimmick sounds great. Can't wait to see how she uses it.


Nightfall and Astroblast both look great as well. Looks like I'm getting at least those two, along with DK, Bowser, Spitfire, and Splat (and two Super Shot Stealth Elfs against my will...). Not sold on any of the updated cores yet, I'm hoping Roller Brawl is really neat though.

Where did the images of the box come from? Again Please can we get the other 4 elements. Thank you

1 more earth character (rumored name: Smash It) and we know all the Skylanders of this game , so someone post him or her on here , so we can decide which Skylanders seem to be the most promising.

Pop Fizz? Oh man he's my favorite. He's the only Skylander I have all the variations of and maxed out all his upgrades and levels. I'm really excited now!

Sorry for everyone who hoped it was Spyro, I hoped it was too just for you guys. I know how much Spyro fans love him.

The Villains Trophies looks cool, another eBay purchase I guess.
Not even going to talk about how that's a punch in the face of everyone who bought a trap last year.

Thrillipede looks nothing like I though but I like him!
Splat's figure is really cool (yay for the non ruined Magic bases)!
Astroblast... WOW. Exactly what I wanted from a Light Skylander. Except for the base.
I still cannot really grasp Nightfall's shape.

Had a problem recognising Eruptor.
He looks soooooo different.

All the new vehicles look really cool!

Overall a great leak, waiting for Tech, Air, Earth and Undead to appear.

And for the Racing Pack including Super Shot Stealth Elf, Stealth Stinger and the Chompy Mage Trophy, of course.

i'm really not a fan of vehicles in general, but I must say that all of them (except Dive Bomber, which looks too plain) look incredible. Most characters (yes, even the revamped ones) look great as well. Not so fond of Astroblast, Thrillipede and (for what we have seen) Highvolt, but I like pretty much every one of them.

I have one question though: Why do they have to match the Skylanders to a specific elemental palette. They should create characters first and then match them to an element, maybe we'd have more original ones. I mean, Voodood didn't have any purple on him, did he?

yes ghost roaster and spitfire i know don't have legs but it's implied in their movement of being able to move as if they had two legs. i was on the phone with target customer service and didn't want to do another edit

If I was any younger, I'd be throwing a fit about how Spyro isn't a super charger. I love Pop Fizz, so it's not that bad.


This is, seriously, my biggest disappointment about the game so far. TfB better continue this reimagining trend in Sky 5 and have Spyro be remade.

Series 2 Deep Dive Gill Grunt

I have this strange odd, that maybe, the rest of these racing trophies, (depending on element), will all be based off the doom Raiders from Trap team. Like, I don't know, it may have been mentioned already, but reading for me would take a very long time by now.

All I can tell right here is, that these packs are going to be expensive... I hope it better not be a Lego Dimensions plot. Where all the packs variate in-between 20-35$ Each.

So are there any planned streams today of game play? I know a lot of booths just opened being just after 10 a.m. pac time. Just don't want to miss any reveals.

What do I think of all the characters?

Eruptor- Eruptor has always had interesting designs through out the years and this one is no exception

Burn Cycle- Looks good. I wish Fryno had it.

Thrillipede- Amazing and well worth the wait. I do think he could have interesting gameplay.

Buzz Wing- My favorite Vehicle BY FAR! Great design and looks perfect with High Five.

Splat- Better than I excepted but I'm still more excited for Spitfire and the Buzz Wing but good nevertheless.

Pop Fizz- I wanted Cobra Cadabra but I like what they did to him. He looks like he's playing a tuba.

Soda Skimmer- Looks creative but less magical besides the coloring that reminds me of NiGHTS.

Astroblast- Light wins again over Dark. Love his look over Nightfall

Sun Runner- Looks plain but fits the Light very well.

Trophies- I can't wait to get them all and race as my favorite DR like Luminous, Champie Mage and Krankcase.

I'll have to say I've been talking more about the bad than good today, though. Astroblast is great skylander represent for Luminous' species, Nightfall seems interesting, Splat is the new Bat Spin by great design, terrible name. The new vehicles all look nice.
(But I'm still salty over Grundo skylander and Pop Fizz, but at this point I can only hope the graphic novel compensates)

Ahhh man, thanks though.

Given the way the trap slots work, I highly doubt that there is one. Basically, the traps have micro RFID chips that have a really small antenna that can only be accessed when they're right next to the portal's coil (which is where the Trap Slot is normally located), and I doubt the trophy would be some kind of signal extender.

Wolfgang was one of the most advertised Doom Raiders along with Golden Queen. CPJ is probably more likely than Chompy Mage, and honestly Krankcase is probably the next more likely than him too.

Well, Chompy Mage might be considered over the other Doom Raiders for the simple fact that he's been in two of the games.

Well we might just be able to put say Kaos int eh Trap Slot and he can drive his Trophy vehicle...Dammit we need answers lol!!!

Good thoughts; I sure hope this happens. That way our traps (most likely just the Doom Raider traps) will have more of a purpose than just giving mods to the vehicles.

Well, the packaging does have a vehicle symbol under GQ's (oh god, why did it have to be that abbreviation) trophy, so it's a possibility.

There might not be any news. What we've seen might be it for now (I prey I'm wrong). They could be waiting for Gamescom to release additional game play footage. I REALLY want to know more about the Trophies.

There IS new gameplay though. Some new parts of that Sea section in Skylantis, and gear bit graphics were updated since there are some big ones in old footage.
Sea Shadow also has an awesome scary anglerfish mod set. Eat your heart out, Gill Grunt. Definately my Sea vehicle of choice now.

Other than the fact that there's no Spyro (TfB , you BETTER revamp him coming Sky 6), I'm loving all the characters. They have so much variety in design.
