That should be your sign in all of this as much as they seem "excited" they didn't make as much money on trap team, i'd say a loss from how much they had to release and stuff that hasn't sold. That e3 hot streak looks bad and if they can only show off as much as what was on the skylanders boy and girl videos...yeah there's really not much they can say on this game can they? it was more of let's just get this out to compete with the other companies.

Because later on the one speaker after battlefront even says that sony is the top place for star wars, so of course they can show off infinity like that because of sony which shows the focus of that game was more so done for sony than the other consoles.

If the game sales is true, then they're at least 1 million beneath all previous entries. So that's a million fewer people buying Trap Team plastic.

The game's announcement seems so sublime this year. It's like they don't even care. It doesn't help that Infinity has vehicles, and they can be reconfigured. I think the yearly release schedule is impacting getting quality ideas in the mix. It's their franchise...as Fryno says...Crash and Burn.

That's probably a high possibility if more people are leaving the franchise it'll force tfb to work on the games less and shift more responsibility to another outlet. So Benox might be forced into that role. I think they are going to take an even bigger hit due to lego and star wars. There'd probably be another million or so not buying their franchise. Especially with people buying more amiibo and all the other games are releasing about the same time, it's why they had to push it a few weeks ahead this year. They didn't want to lose sales.

I thought that was a Dimensions' feature.

I personally like Hot Streak's variant, but IT IS lazy.
Could have gone with something truly incredible.
This is just what I was expecting it to be colored in the first place; they actually surprised me more with the regular color scheme.

lets just say... this years skylanders will for sure be a game changer and leave it at that. and hope we will see a skylanders 6.

Infinity being in a conference doesn't decide if a game will be sucessful or not. You guys are just freaking out over the little things at this point. Giants didn't even get more than 10 seconds in those yet it still did amazing.
Oh, who am I kidding, you'll latch on to any possibility that Acti doesn't have 101% faith in this game as proof.

Today having some more footage would be lovely. Fingers crossed for actual soundtrack this time.

Hopefully we get lots of info and not just a skylander or two.

We can expect full coverage tomorrow. YRocTheEliteSlayer said he'll be giving full coverage tomorrow. He's letting on he knows something we don't, I personally don't believe it. Tomorrow makes sense, I don't think Acti is doing their press converence and meetings day 1, and the youtubers who are going today will edit videos tonight after the event closes. I don't have my hopes that high for any news today.

Congrats you have now posted my absolute favorite skylander it looks like one of those Mexican skeleton people from the book of life and I really like that movie.

Him and his car looks like something from the old 60s "Odd Rods" line up. Props to anyone who knows what that is without looking it up.

He is certainly unique. Not sure if I'll get him though as I wasn't ever too fond of the whole day of the dead thing though. Still wondering who'll be the other dead character with the skull car. Hoping for Ghost Roaster as he's only obvious one with a skull head.

The reason I'm really liking this character is because 1 I love Mexico, and it has the old Mexico skeleton design from ancient stories, and 2 it looks like the skeletons from The Book Of Life and I love that movie.

I love the vehicle but his toy design looks a little odd.....

First confirmed post-SSA recruited skylander! Funny Bone was unclear, but this guy has SF3DS word for word. Too bad it was planned after the game, because the band on the final phase is definately not his. But still, wow, good designs from VV in the same element as the guy that made me wary of SF, what are the chances this was done specifically to repent for Grim Creeper? :U

Also noticed that the backstory means that we probably won't be coming back to Party Town if the citzens actually noticed their ruler is a jerk, aww. But Moneybone is definately being teased quite a lot.

Well Undead has won me over yet again. Fiesta is just all kinds of awesome. Like first , then , next , finally and now Fiesta. This is the exact reason why Undead is my favorite element, he is clearly the most original and creative character we have gotten.

I'm sure they'll at least show 2 new ones, there's no way they'll just keep doing gameplay for skylanders and vehicles on cloud kingdom until the game actually RELEASES.

We'll see, a lot of gameplay was exclusively Phoenix Psanctuary last year.
(Also, friendly reminder that, with all the Moneybone and Underworld hints, they're the only ones with themes exclusive to the 3DS version., meaning they could see a return without being lazy console theme reusal~)

I'm liking the new undead base design. I hope they use it in future games, I never liked the flat skull sitting on top of dark grey rocks....

It looks a bit like Hex's Bone Fortress. Doubt that means she'll get a repose though.

It looks like the Wall of Bones but it seems to close around itself at the bottom instead of being an actual wall.

More importantly, we need to have a discussion about these bronze engines on every base. Why bronze? Part of me can't get past thinking they have to do something with Silver and Gold engines at some point.

Yeah, looks cool but I prefer the skull.
Also, not a fan of Fiesta's design, too modern and Infinity-ish for my tastes.

Really love his backstory and the Crypt Crusher (his supercharged form is brilliant), can't wait to see his powers in action (the video isn't charging... *sigh*).

He uses the tiny skeletons from SF3DS(first instance of enemies reused as Skylander supporters?) as supporting attacks kinda like Sonic Boom, and has an AoE rose storm teleportation like... Hoot Loop, maybe? And his primary is just holding down the trumphet gun.
On vehicles, hard to see on phone, but supercharged the skeletons seem to shoot homing music and throw rose particles as you move.

I was thinking this myself. I expected they'll do something like 1/100 Silver, 1/500 Gold and 1/5000 Platinum releases for their variants. It's pretty typical stuff for blind box figures. If the Skylanders comes in boxes instead of blisters, then this is almost certainly going to happen.

If the Skylanders come in blind boxes I'm going to buy them on eBay.
But I don't think this will happen (not at 12,99€/$ each!).

They probably just choose that color.
Either that or gold, which are quite similar.
It's just a classical "figurine support" thing, kinda like Amiibos bases.
