I'm hoping there's not a dark edition because I'm short on cash this time around
And with Wave 4-5 waiting to be realeased I might not be able to save money for it
And with Sc coming out in 3 months it's a worry for me

Probably not. If there is, I'm hoping the added figures are Dark Variant of Stealth Elf's vehicle, and a non-variant supercharger of the Dark element. Would be weird to have a Dark Variant of a supercharger and not their vehicle, or vice versa.

i'm sure there will be another edition released, but i dont think they will call it the dark edition.

There will most likely be one again. Actually, there will be a collector's edition for sure, but maybe they will make it Legendary or Nitro this time for a change? Though I have nothing against the Dark theme.

Nitro would be more fitting for dark. I would probably buy that.

Well... Even if there is, it's not like you have to get it. I mean, only reason I got the dark starter for TT was because it came with a Kaos trap. You only need one vehicle to complete the game, and that one comes in the regular starter pack.

depends what they can actually stick in there for people to buy it. considering the release of the two elements, calling a dark edition without an actual dark element skylander wouldn't be right and logically if they were to do something of a pack like that you may see a special edition vehicle in there which i think you'll see more variants of. they know some people only buy the game closer to launch due to the extra edition. i did for swap force and trap team because of what they had, the dark trap team and swap force skylanders and the kaos trap.

though it would be nice that if they do so, maybe throw in a dark spyro that actually has the dark element now. that should be a thing

We've heard about there only being 40 figures for this iteration, but haven't heard anything about variants. I feel there will be a Dark Edition to fill the variant "quota". I expect to also see Nitro, Legendary, Enchanted, and holiday/seasonal figures. I would not be surprised if we get another Winter/X-Mas super-charger variant with a sled-type vehicle.

I hope they do a dark starter pack. It would be great if the elements were tech, air, and undead, being as how I would like a dark variant for all elements.

I don't think so.... Even though i usually get the dark starter, I don't think stealthy would get another, and spitfire would look awkward.

Because the Dark Starter Packs were out before Dark officially became it's own element, I doubt Acti will make another Dark Starter Pack, that could lead to a lot of confusion, especially if the figures are just Dark Elements (3 Dark Elemental figures) OR if the figures are Dark Air, Dark Life, etc.

I don't want a dark edition, I think they should mix it up and have a super cool edition which I had suggested before.

I have nothing against the dark starter, it's basically the collector's edition. I'd want one, but i believe it's unlikely.

It is unlikely, I mean, how could there be a good color scheme for a dark spitfire? I would not mind a royal or nitro starter pack. (Cough) Legendary (cough)

Storm Blade is already fast. And please VV, put some damn stats in there to make Nitro ACTUALLY Nitro or actually honor TfB's original concept of making legendary stats different.

How well did the Dark Editions sell anyway?

That would be an indication.

If there's a special edition starter pack, they ought call it the Supercharged Edition.
Same figures with alternate paint jobs.
If it was Nitro Edition, it would be a Target exclusive. Legendary would make it a TRU exclusive.
If not call it The Supercharged Edition, then how about The Maximum Overdrive Edition.
I know you can customize the vehicles in the game, you just have the physical vehicle and figures with different colors.

I really hope there is a Dark Edition, there has been Dark Skylanders since the very beginning and it would be highly disappointing if they stopped just do to a silly car.

I do know that in a Skylanders Boy and Girl Video variants are confirmed so we will see something.

Nitro edition sounds cool for an idea.

I wouldn't buy the Dark Pack because Stealth Elf was in the last one. If there was an extra item exclusive to the pack such as the Ultimate Koas trap, then maybe I would get it. It would have to be amazing though, like an extra variant vehicle.

There will be a Dark Edition with Blackout. He'll be so dark he'll actually cancel out the light in the room.

Was in a TRU in Ontario, Canada yesterday trying to preorder 3ds Superchargers which they didn't have a SKU for yet and apparently there were Dark editions in his list for all systems except 3DS and Wii. I've looked around for confirmation on the web but haven't seen it yet. Not that excited this time around for any of them but maybe the 3DS version racer.
