Wow, this game's announcement just Supercharged my account back to life!

Anyway, I was a little iffy on this game at first but I'm pretty hyped now.

I am just really disappointed that Traps aren't gonna allow you to play as the villains anymore. Other than that, I'm ready to roll! Also, I find it funny how Superchargers is coming out about a week before Lego Dimensions.

I hoping that fire looking vehicle in the shot of spitfire and stealth elf racing is Sunburn. Highly unlikely, considering the look, but I still have high hopes because Sunburn was my top favorite in SSA.

It would make the most sense. Especially since VV is developing this one, and he got a repose in Trap Team.

I hope there won't be a loophole of how Kaos came back within the story mode. Maybe the Kaos who returned was the real one whereas the Kaos we captured with the ultra-rare black Trap was his clone.

So I attempted to improve quality of the image and reduce pixelation using software, this is what it resulted in. Enlarging the image will allow you to see it better, however still it's not clear.



EDIT: Oops sorry about the bottom cutting off, this is an alternate version as I had to go through the process again in order to get the bottom back and I uploaded it to a image sharing site. If anyone has a better version (HD), (maybe another site may have it at higher quality) from what was already posted I'd be able to provide a clearer picture, but this is as good as I can get it to in its current state.

There's something off about poster. There's either 3 characters/vehicles per element shown, or there is 5 for each.

However much I look at that poster I can't see the 20/20 split of vehicles and characters.

Huh... I don't see any vehicles for Light and Dark... maybe this poster isn't final.

I think I see something that resembles Sunburn but it kinda hard to tell

I can't even figure out which ones are characters and which ones are vehicle...

While I can't see much, I can see there are 5 toys per element except for Light and Dark which both have 3. However, according to Acti, LD have the same ain't of characters as the other elements. Obviously this poster isn't final.

No this isn't the final poster...look at the bottom right...there is something there....also this poster is distorted it is streched and its perspective is deformed.....of witch im sure was done on purpose to try to hide the figures till they release the poster at E3. Also i belive the top row is the Light an Dark.

Edit: Relooked at origanal pic...there is something at the bottom...the one ImDoubleTrouble depixcelated is shorter then the main one.

Eh, I can pass on Fryno. Not really a character that ever interested me. And my usual choice got ruled out right out the gate. :/

Good to hear that Sharpfin makes a return though, and with a bigger role to boot. Did enjoy the bond he and Flynn developed by the end of Swap Force, hope we get to see more of that.


Oh, and if the leader of the Trap Masters being a Dino-Rang alike wasn't surreal enough, the leader of the Superchargers is a Rattle Shake alike. :I

I can tell even less but the sections seem to be divided in twos despite being the same element,making four or two very elaborate things(and you can tell 4 text boxes below so dunno). But if they're Supercharger and Vehicle,then, what's in the middle? Light and Dark seem to have 3 slots each, including the things in the middle...

That's the mystery!

It sure is. But I can at least tell the colors,so if we ever find it again, it's currently divided as:
Light, Dark
Undead(?),Water or Air
Fire,Life
Earth,Air or Water
Tech,Magic(?)

If it's really a placeholder it might be an easier way to see changes in a newer one.

Actually, Bifrost, you made an obvious mistake.

Here's what it actually is, from what I can see.

Light, Dark
Magic/Undead (I think Undead), Water/Air (I think Air)
Earth/Tech (I think Earth), Life
Fire, Water/Air (I think Water)
Earth/Tech (I think Tech), Magic

The big mistake was you placed Fire in the wrong spot. Clearly the second from the bottom in the left column is Fire, as you can see Spitfire and/or Hot Streak.

As I keep saying, I can't see anyone. just colors. The top orange color looks more reddish than the bottom one, but dunno, I could be wrong.

I highly doubt it.

Even if it doesn't have amiibo support, there's still the "surprise" at E3.

I doubt there would be amiibo compatibility though, because the other consoles might feel downgraded compared to WiiU/N3DS. However, because the Wii version is getting downgraded (and the 3DS version has always been downgraded), I wouldn't be very surprised either.
Another thing to remember is that Skylanders was almost a Nintendo-only game.

Also, I would love to fight Kaos with Ike, Marth, Robin, or Lucina.

On one hand that would explain the mysterious figures on the poster (they aren't Skylanders, so they don't count but they would work inside the game).

On the other... No.
Don't think it's likely to happen.

They probably gave an ambiguos answer on purpose, to create hype and curiosity.
But don't doubt they will have something big to show at the E3, as separate companies.

I think the press just really spun the words to sound like it'd have something to do with amiibo support, just like everything we ask saying 'you'll have to wait and see' doesn't mean yes.
Besides,I'm not sure anyone with non-Nintendo crossover tendencies has an Amiibo yet(Sonic is a special case), so no matter who is being supported it'd just be weird to scan,say, Mario and get a special mod.

HOWEVER,the way things were connected,and seeing that the WiiU Starter Pack has a placeholder picture... Maybe that version will actually use the gamepad's reader for something?

just think if it is amiibos in this game(it sure could explain why there is only 40 skylanders to collect), and they unlock portal master stars... i think that would be great for the wiiu owners. maybe we get a amiibo skylanders too.. who knows.. its sure will be interesting to see what happen.

Or maybe the SuperChargers also work as amiibos on other games.

I doubt yes. Seem suspiciously there is no packshots online of the WiiU, Wii or 3DS they would be labeled with a amiibo logo for amiibo support.

I'm hoping the vehicle co-op of this game will be comparable to Mario Kart: Double Dash.

The 10 things going down through the center just look like they're just character-in-vehicle examples, like the combination examples in Swap-Force. Especially since they don't seem to have a border nor a label.

They do have a border (when they fit inside), but that does make more sense...

Maybe it shows the change the vehicle makes when paired with its specific SuperCharger?

I believe the poster's structure is gonna be the vehicle and the rider next to it. Down the center are concept artworks of some riders in vehicles.

If that's the case, then we'll get only 36 figures if this poster is finalized.

It was confirmed that when a SuperCharger is riding their signature vehicle, they become SuperCharged.

I see what you did there, and it makes me want to play through the original Spyro games again.

I know it'll never happen,but it'd be pretty cool if Spyro's vehicle had a secondary attack which ejected him(or whoever's driving it) with an aura/wall of fire to attack things like Ignitor's Soul of Flame. There, we have our reference, and they aren't exactly dismounting in a vehicle area.

My friend told me about this. The way I see it, we may get some Skylander Amiibos if anything. Could they possibly be the 10 things outside of the boxes on the poster?

That'd be kind of irrelevant,also Activision wouldn't really do an agreement with Nintendo out of the blue to do the same figures with a different base. Maybe ONE figure if at all for Mii costmes or something, but having both toys to life unite for cameos doesn't sound like a thing that'd ever happen.

Even if Amiibo work, It will just likely be a Mario hat or something. You won't be playing a the character.
