As long as we're getting those two, I'll be getting just Flip Wreck. As for King Cobra Cadabra and Gnarly Barkley, I really hope they come as well.

I'd like to know when they come out in Europe.

Well I'll be there next Friday and hopefully the last traps will be there too.

TRU had them out last night on pegs in my area but they wouldn't sell to me at register.. It wasn't register locked I don't think.. I called them prior to stopping by asking about the last 2, and was told they didn't have them and wouldn't until Friday or Saturday! Then when I found them they guy at register happened to be the guy I spoke with.. They recently lost 80 % of employees and everyone there now is new and very unfriendly! Oh well, I guess I'll have to learn patience!

I'm betting they will be a one or two week exclusive at TRU and then widely available everywhere...in time before the Jun 3rd announcement.

Not sure what that means for King Cobra, Variant trap Shrednaught, remaining traps and Gnarly Tree Rex mini.

I think Gnarly Barkley was confirmed for May 19 at TRU.

I saw at least a dozen Enigma at TRU today but none of the other ones. Also, saw dark traps, light traps, 3 pack traps and Kaos Traps.

I went to EB Games yesterday and didn't find any Enigmas. I haven't checked TRU but will go there sometime next week or so. Don't know what's going on here in southern Ontario.

Let's just keep this topic to discussing the release of Fling Kong and Flip Wreck, not Enigma. Enigma has been released and is widespread, these 2 are not.

Can also confirmed these are in the system street dated for May 15th

Really surprised to see Echo in that assortment. Thought she would be the Scratch if Trap Team.

Stop comparing Echo and Scratch. Scratch was available for a good 3 months for those looking following release. No Skylander has been gone after just a month and a half...and that's how long Echo has been out. It's too early to gauge anything as Echo is still to be shipped in the next wave. All we know right now is that Krypt King and Wildfire have gone the way of the dinosaur unless we see them snuck in during one of the upcoming waves.

It was an assumption/opinion!!!! Was less making the comment since she is still sought after and not many are released.

Still....all ready have them so of no concern to me!!

I'm assuming we don't know the trap assortments yet, or if they'll even come out with the cores? I hope not, because I can't go buy any Skylanders until May 29th when I've saved all my money, and last time I tried to get new traps after their release this one guy in my area I like to call "The Trap Monster" quite literally cleaned the entire trap section up, leaving only the water logholders behind at my Toys R Us as I saw the employee let him leave with the tons of traps he acquired. Haven't seen any wave 3 or 4 traps/cores (besides Bat Spin) since, and I've still seen him make regular appearances at my stores checking for new shipments. I fear for Flip Wreck and the Light Yawn trap I want so dearly...

Just so you know, this is not the assortment TRU is receiving for tomorrow's US release. They are getting in cases that have 6 Flip Wreck and 6 Fling Kong and nothing else. My store got three cases, so 18 of each. They are not register locked.

Several Flip Wreck paint jobs were spotty (paint leaked over the edge/derpy eyes - I almost took a photo where one eye was aimed left and the other aimed right), but Fling Kong looked fine.

Just like the 3 for $33 sale the week after Enigma's release, let's hope there's a Skylanders sale next week. I'm not going to rush out tomorrow only to pay $11 each to TRU for these guys.

It kinda shows where this franchise is these days. The last release of new regular singles this year and the interest level is somewhere between "meh" and "maybe if there is a sale next week" ...

Oh, and I just received this afternoon's TRU email about sales and stuff, no mention of them - not even a Hot Toy Alert (I don't think there was one for Enigma, either).

Their Skylanders 5 announcement (whenever it comes) better knock people's socks off.

3 months minimum for all characters...after that, you're treading hit or miss waters. No core or gimmick Skylander has started disappearing before 3 months. That kind of get them now or else mentality is what keeps scalper hopes up...we want them to move from Skylanders onto Amiibo or other stuff completely. Don't fuel the fire by saying "get them ASAP!"

Wave 5 is actually the easiest to get, usually. Since is the last, those are the ones that still come in over the long summer and by that time most of lost interest. Wave 4 is usually the hardest, because it comes in April then gets immediately overshadowed by Wave 5. For example, I saw Enigma at no less than three different stores today while running errands just sitting on the pegs.

Whats the word on the "traps"?

My TRU knows nothing about this! Grrr.

So then ask to see all of the backstock one box at a time. If they feel pain, they might move forward and give you what you need.

I found Flip Wreck and Fling Kong today at my TRU. The employee was just putting them on the pegs at around 11AM.

Is Flip Wreck worth it to buy today? I was gonna wait until the 29th, but I think I might have just enough money for him today. Should I buy him now when I still have school work to do, or go ahead and wait until the 29th when I'm out of school...?

Can anyone who got them at Toys R Us post the SKU/ID#s from the receipt? They can look them up on computer to see if they are in the store. Unless these have the #s as all the cores.

Yay! One core left, 4-5 traps and one mini... And, we wait...

Just got mine when TRU opened. Haven't played them yet, since I went to see the new Mad Max movie afterwards.

Got them. Went with Flip Wrecks wheel path rather than sword path and really like the unlimited fish shooting attack.

Can't decide which path for Fling Kong. I like the idea of disks passing through enemies and bouncing off walls, but I also like the idea of leaving a trail of lightning from the carpet dash.

They had quit a few of each at my local store....been playin' them...like them both. Same here Dahvoo...Flipwreck hits like a truck.... daddy like
Still no new Traps....*grumbles grumbles* need Wave 3 Traps....blasted port strike...

My TRU actually had 6 boxes of them, so it seemed like plenty for now. I'll be interested to see if they keep shipping these last few figures or if they'll end up hard to find by the time Skylanders 5 comes around.

Finally got them and now am just waiting for the remaining traps and then the next game. really caught me by surprised and he is truly the guy I never expected I would want the most. Carpet Captain makes him one of the best in the series surprisingly.

Agree with GhostRoaster617. Carpet Captain makes Fling King really fun to play.

Walmart has these up for preorder, unsure if thats new or not.
