Let me just say, I first saw this here, and I figured "It's just SaN being SaN. That dress is obviously blue and black."

And then I saw this story on the news. Like, seriously? I mean, they showed a brightened version of the picture, and in that case I can kind of see where those who think it's white and gold are coming from. But even still, I still see it as blue and black.

But in the back of my mind, I'm thinking "Who the hell cares? It's just a stupid dress! Don't these chuckleheads have better things to do than argue what color a dress is?" Then again, this is the internet, where flame wars can and will break out over the most trivial things ever, so I can't say I'm surprised.

This is sorta interesting because colors don't really exist. They're just labels that our brains put on different wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation. Nothing really has color, we just perceive it to be that way.

I've seen it as both blue and black AND white and gold, but I believe it is actually blue and black. I read numerous sources confirming this. Does depend of lighting or something though as to what someone would actually see, but it is blue and black.

Enough said. Now I shall sit quietly in my room and stare at the wall until the internet makes a big deal out of something else. Meaning I'll be back in a few hours.
