That is a great find - even when SSA was "the" game, that expansion was hard to get if you did not grab one when it first came out...

This was in my mailbox yesterday, finally got around to posting it.
I'm starting to try to add more chase variants and what not to my collection, starting with the more common ones

Next on my to get list are the 3 frito lay hot dogs

Just found two Clear Tuff Lucks sitting on the shelf at a Best Buy in Illinois. I have never even see a chase variant in a store so to find two together I just couldn't believe it. Guess my 10 year old lucks out and I get one to sell.

That's some good luck Spoons! I must say the crystal variants are probably my favorite rates, transparency is such a cool effect. I have a Crystal Stealth Elf myself. On a Trap Master the Crystal effect works particularly well, with the translucent weapons!

They were not the only ones. They had some regular Tuff Lucks sitting on the shelves too. I doubt they had been sitting there for long. I find it strange how these are so rare but yet one Best Buy store gets two of them in together.

I will from here on out post what I buy every Tuesday, as that will be when they will arrive from Amazon. Recently, I got three characters from Best Buy: . I will soon get Chopper from Amazon, and will expand my collection. From the income I receive every week, I should have every single (no mini, repose, variant, non-necessary traps are applied in the count) unique character by June 19. Hopefully the stock remains good, as it would stink if I had to go to best buy again...

Love Potion Pop Fizz and the snake life trap (wave 3)

I did some serious hunting yesterday in the Kansas City area and a lot of its suburbs and only managed to snag two items up for my collection. I went to probably 20 different stores (GameStops, Targets, Walmart, Toys R Us). I was really hoping to find a clear Tuff Luck or some decent used figures from GameStop, but nope!

Got off work and found this little guy at target, scooped him up in a heart beat

Trying to find Clear Tuff Luck myself, but to no avail. No one had any

But, truth be told, I think the people who put them in boxes may get lazy sometimes.

Back in the SSA days of glow in the dark variants, I found 3 in one go and know someone who found 4 in one go at another store of the same chain (Big W for the Aussies who want to know).

Not sure I can start naming prices on here without getting in trouble!..lol....so I wont!

I am sure that you can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement with a forum member (via private conversation, of course) - that is what I did with my spare variants I found (the above mentioned spare GITD and spare SSA gold variant I found).

After opening my LPPF, I found out hes got an out of socket leg, debating if I want to glue it or not

If they aren't out on the sales floor, find an employee and ask them to look the figure up by the item number which is 207003013. They will be able to see if they have any in the back. If so, they will go get them for you. That's what I did. The store I was in had 12.

just put in an order through bestbuy. $13 after shipping for Light Core Hex and Rattle Shake. Both were on sale, plus the 20% off i get there through the gamers club and free shipping. not bad price for the 2 of them IMO, especially when Hex is one of my faves (plus its light core) and needed Rattle Shake for swap force element

I FINALLY got my Kaos Trap and a spare as well! Got them both at my local Target. He was staring at me from the end of the peg and I had to check him over three times as I just couldn't believe it was actually him! I mean, I expected something more spectacular like angels floating around and bright lights surrounding it. LOL! I looked him over and thought damn this is so ugly and he is so not worth all the anxiety I was having over getting one. .

The other one was on the other peg, third in line behind an air trap that I've never noticed before. I think it was a wave three trap, but I honestly couldn't tell as I don't really collect all the traps.

I'm glad this is so done and over with. I somehow always just missed out on them. I've been going out looking for him once or twice a week since Halloween! I just need me a Bat Spin and I'm done for Skylanders until Sky 5. I'm pretty sure she won't be anywhere as rare though.

Well, I can't pick them up now, but Scarlet Ninjini and Flashwing are now mine~! Wish I could go get them for pics, but just knowing I finally have my first variant(even if it's a common one) feels pretty good, and also got one last non-Trap Team character before I start cutting down on what I actually want and not low priority figures I happen to have money for(which means no going after Lightcore Hex unless it's under 20 dollars, kinda hard with the shipping prices).

man you people around here have some great luck. i've never seen a kaos trap, nor a variant lol. living on crowded long island with scalpers everywhere sucks. i did, however, go to toys r us and finally picked up the Empire of Ice 3 pack. i wanted this pack when it first came out but was impossible to find, and couldnt find it in stores while i originally collected, so it was nice finally being able to buy it, and it was only $9.99 at TRU

Looks like the clear tuff lucks are pretty common. I am surprised this many are making there way to the shelves for people to find!....was going to sell mine but I might wait it out unless I get a reasonable offer!

I am also surprised that many clear Tuff Lucks are making it to the shelves. I still think my TRU or GameStop would pull them to keep for an employee. I was in GameStop the other day getting a charging station for PS3 controllers and the manager recognized me as a skylanders customer. He asked if I found a Kaos trap yet. When I said yes, I asked why. He said he got some shipped to his store but was hanging on to them in the back... That made me so mad! Why not put them out and give someone a fair shot at getting one??

Went to my local Gamestop...they had 3 Love Potion Pop Fizz...well they have 2 now...LOL And still no Kaos Traps...grrr...hope i find the 2 i need one of these days.

Update: did not get her. Went to register to purchase her, only to find out NHR is register-locked for a release date of 2/15, same day as Legendary Bushwhack.

Got a Ka boom today so yay

Actually, I'm not sure about L bushwhack. Someone who works at TRU showed me the list, and I didn't see anything about L bushwhack on the 15th.

Picked up LPPF & NHR at Target in Newington CT this afternoon. NHR came up with no pricing info, Sales clerk just punched it in manually

was on my way to dave and busters with my daughter and stopped off quick to target to pick up a draw for my keurig machine, and decided to check out the skylanders for the heck of it....and boy am i glad i didnt bite the bullet and pay a premium for these guys....
