For about a week now I have been wondering and looking for any news about McDonalds Skylanders toys for this year. Just now I discovered the Skylanders Boy and Girl "What If?" video for them and I wanted to get a post in now before someone totally misunderstands what "What If" means and goes totally OMGZ ballistic here with their discovery.

So, has anyone heard of any real news about this years McDonalds Skylanders Toys? Assuming they are doing them even this year? I tired to look for their upcoming releases list but I couldn't find one. They are always rather fun to collect and rather cheap too. I mean just buy the toy and avoid the crappy food of course!

Somehow for Trap Team I thought they would give away free usable crystals to help push the product as they are cheap enough and all that and about the same quality as a McDonald's Toy. It would be a good way to give away the sea of blue traps that all the stores seems to have just way too much of.

If they do have one this year, then a Kaos Head whatever toy is a must. They must make it that much harder for any of us to ever get a real Kaos trap, right? LOL! Perhaps we'd get a Golden Queen figure or even a Glumshanks for just because reasons. Man, I'm really wanting a McDonald's Trap Team cheap-o toy assortment right now!

I think we'd get 5 villains and 5 skylanders.

A grow-in-water gulper
A chef pepper jack with a pull back and release function with his egg beater
A pain-yatta with a button you press on his back to move his arm
A Golden Queen that shotos out paper golden coins

A snap shot with arrow projectile
A wallop with pull back function involving his tantrum mode
A Fryno pull-back with a motorcycle
A wildfire with light up shield
A Food Fight with a projectile

No dark?

I would like a knigh light with pop up wings action.

Why is it being assumed there HAS to be a Skylanders tie in this year at McD?

I got this right from Flynn... enchiladas will be an optional entree in the Happy Meal... BOOM! ;-)
