Please forgive me if it's old news or already part of some other Skylanders game and I just didn't notice it. To me it seems we have our first leak of Skylanders 5.

I'll explain what's in the image just in case it was not intended to be seen and goes down quickly. I advise for people to save it immediately just in case.

There is a printout on the wall saying "Skylanders Baa-T~~~" I cannot make it out, but a sheep logo is right below it. From the other stuff on the wall, it appears this set up was a part of their "Game Jam" celebration. It seems that two years ago they accidentally leaked a Crash Bandicoot redesign at this celebration, so it's very likely that they "oopsed" yet again.

There is an extreme closeup of Gill Grunt's back on monitor screen number one. It looks like he's hunting for a sheep as the sheep's bubble is in the center of the screen. Next to that bubble is two numbers which is obviously for team score. It appears that he's in an arena where 4 players (teams of two?) are hunting for sheep and whoever tags him the most times or finds the most of them wins.

I think I see a row of Windows(?) icons on the second screen, which tells me this most likely is a developer's build and the players shown are having fun testing something new out. The companies walls as well as the monitors has water and life logos taped onto them, so it's obviously a team water vs team life demo.

There are 4 player bubbles at the top of the screens and one of them appears to be Punk Shock and I assume Gill Grunt is next to her although it's too blurry to tell this. It seems on the other side is perhaps Zook and I cannot determine who else. There is a second screen and it appear that the person there is playing one of the life element characters. I'm guessing it's most likely Food Fight.

At the bottom left of the screens are some really strange data stuff for your character or perhaps even a map icon. It's not like anything I've ever seen in prior games.

On the table is a print out of the controls and of course it's rather blurry. I think the Skylanders logo on the sheet is the same as on the wall, but it's hard to tell. I think they show an Xbone or a normal 360 controller on there. The only words I can make out are "AIM" and "CONTROLS."

The date of the image upload is around Thanksgiving 2014. It seems to me that they are playing a nearly finished mini-game that just may support two player online. I mean two screen play is being shown there and that would be online play, right? So perhaps online play is their big gimmick for Sky 5?

Anyway, please do look the image over closely for anything else I've missed. There are other interesting things there I'm certain!

You mean this Crash redesign? Man, I'm so sad nothing's come out of that... It looks so cool, and I think Vicarious would do a very good job capturing the spirit of Crash... Too bad he's in limbo even worse than Spyro. I've been replaying the original Crash games and finding the known cancelled Crash stuff, which worsens the pain. (Crash 2010 looks like it would've been awesome.)

Anyway, good work! What's interesting is those are all ranged characters that have a weapon they can shoot with. Would melee characters be temporarily given a ranged weapon, or could only ranged characters play that? I dunno, but this seems like it'd be a spinoff title to me rather than the next mainstream title, since it's named after sheep. It could just be an extra mode, but then unless sheep get a big role in the story (which just seems too ridiculous to me) I don't see why they would essentially name it after an extra.

Also the no figures would make sense for online battle coz you couldn't have people taking/knocking their skylanders off the portal all the time and ruin the battle . Online really requires more 3ds upload/save figure game mechanic .

Iether way that's amazing !!! If it's true , it will revitalise the skylanders

It might not have really anything to do with sheep , could just be the comical side of the franchise or the tournament takes place on Sheep island or something .

The big Game Jam poster on the wall suggests that this is Vicarious employees showing off gaming ideas. I doubt this is Skylanders 5, but it could be a part of Skylanders 5. However, the most exciting thing for me is just that they're trying out other Skylanders game ideas and that this one is multiplayer, possibly even networked multiplayer.

I think the other characters next to Punk Shock icon could be Gill Runt, but the one in the front is definitely Gill Grunt...

Also didn't they stop producing skylanders on PC after spyros adventure coz people were hacking it?
I doubt they'd go back to pc.

It seems like a bit of effort to make a little mini game 4 player though . But maybe the game would be like mario party but skylanders lol

Most likely, I think that was quite successful.

However, upon a closer analysis the two characters in the green/Life bubbles are definitely Food Fight and Zook.

And that could also mean full backwards compatibility, unless those four all got a repose, and I doubt it.

I agree, the title seems to say "Skylanders Baa-ttleland".

I'm looking at both screens I belive it's Gill Grunt and Punk Shot schlock vs Stump Smash and Zook or food fight or maybe a new character I don't know?

No, no, I will wait to see and know something more, before saying anything.

Okay, so I have my own theory, feel free to add onto them if you like:

Firstly, Food Fight's also there. Secondly, it actually looks similar to Nintendo's upcoming game Splatoon. As you can see in the picture, the position of the camera on Gill Grunt is very similar to that of the typical third-person shooter. So my theory is that this is either A ) a spin-off title that's released alongside Skylanders 5, or B ) a spin-off title that will be released in place of Skylanders 5. Personally, I hope for the former. It's also possible that this could just be a new PvP type mode that acts like a third-person shooter, which would definitely be an interesting move. I would also like to point out that the, arena let's say if this is a battle mode, seems to look like the Kaos Factories level from Swap Force.

I'm embarrassed that I didn't find this image sooner, but then again the last time I checked VV for leaks was about a week before this image was actually posted. Go figure the luck!

I don't think that there are many fans out there that could ID the people shown in the image (including myself), but isn't the guy in the striped blue shirt VV's CEO Karthik Bala? How scandalous is that, to have a leaked image of the CEO playing whatever this actually is which is almost certainly going to be from the new Sky 5 game!? Epic!

there have been intentional leaks before so maybe not as scandalous as you think.

My guess it's a mini game of Sky 5, which introduces on line and from what it looks like, four players. GOD I'M EXCITED! MUCH MORE THAN TRAP TEAM! I'M GETTING A REALLY GREAT VIDE FOR THIS! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
