Does any one know if this will be out as an actual toy you can get in the store?
My son found him on his tablet yesterday when he was playing lost islands and wanted to know if he is out there to buy.
It says that it is for a limited time and is (I think) 1500 green gems.

No, even though Merry Snap Shot does look very cool, he will not be an actual toy figure, and was replaced by Winterfest Lob-Star.

Tfb ( Toys for Bob ) once said in one video, ( I forgot which one) that some of the variants that don't make it to toy-form, and are scrapped during the process, are sometimes put up as variants in Lost Islands

Alter Egos are commonplace in Lost Islands. MOST of them look very cool, but no, they're exclusive to that game and won't ever come out as toys. It's a nice inspiration for custom figures,however.

You can pretty much assume that any variant that involves something other than a new color of paint won't be hitting the stores. People often under-estimate the planning that goes into making the figures - they can't just run a new mold easily.

The in-game variants are just repaints though...

...That said, if the 3DS game doesn't say it exists, then it doesn't exist (in physical form).

The Lost Islands variants aren't just repaints, most of them have different articles of clothing, weapons, etc, all which would require a new mold for toy form.

Exactly. For example, you can't just paint Stump Smash to look like Autumn Stump Smash since he has a big leafy afro (and all the Lost Islands special alter egos have pretty significantly alterations to their models).
