Eons Elite Gill Grunt and Eruptor.. [CLOSED]

They probably won't be out until 2015, but based on the speed that they rolled out the first six, my guess is that we'll most likely see them sometime in January.

With my luck, Eruptor will be the last one they release, simply because he's the only one I want. :-/

I hate all of the elite figures. Spyro is the only one that made sense. I wouldve rather had ghost roaster or cynder as the undead. Pretty much every element is a character that has been shoved down our throats. They shouldve let the fans vote. These are only the most popular bc they have made about 6 versions of each of these figures. Of course they would make them elite. LRod or Warnado as the air. Of course Drill Sarge for tech. Prism Break for earth and so on. Just my opinion. Does everyone really like these 8 the most?

The only ones I like out of the Elites are Chop Chop, Terrafin, and kinda-sorta Gill Grunt.

For the most part, yes.

Spyro is the mascot of the series, of course he's going to be the choice for Magic.
Trigger Happy is also the most popular tech, he appeals to kids for being cute and fun. Drobot might've won out in a popularity vote but Trigger Happy I believe was stated to be the favorite at TFB.
Stealth Elf is a no brainer.
Gill Grunt was chosen because he's the mascot for the Water Element and TFB seems to love him. In a vote, I believe Zap would've won out.
Eruptor is also the mascot for the fire element. No doubt if there was a fan choice, Ignitor or Sunburn would've won. Especially since Sunburn is among the harder Adventure Packs to find.
Chop Chop for same reasons as the above. In a vote, fans would've chosen Ghost Roster for the same reason as Sunburn or Cynder as she's a fan favorite.
Terrafin was a surprise choice. It's clear he's a fan favorite but I was honestly expecting them to go with Bash because he's also popular or Prism Break because he's the defacto mascot for the Earth element.
Whirlwind is a bit of a toss up. She's a popular Wind element but Sonic Boom is also another fan favorite. I'm not sure which one would've won out in a fan vote.

I get why they picked what they picked. Spyro/gill/trigger are the starter figures of SSA, the rest are pretty much the mascots of each of their elements.

I ended up getting all 8 between sunday and monday as i got them for $20 each. I def wanted stealth elf as she was my 1st solo figure, spyro cause i love spyro and whirlwind just cause I liked how she looked. The rest I got to finish the collection (up to whats out)

The trick is to do this with a skylander BEFORE buying upgrades. Specifically, Eruptor was a major PITA to accomplish this challenge even without the upgrades. It's literally IMPOSSIBLE to do this challenge with the upgrades.

Thats a good idea, I beat it with sunburn, drobot and a couple others with full upgrades then gave up lol
