The irony is that a metallic variant one also comes up in the search results for less than a 1/4 of the price.

@the above 3 posts.....This is what those high volume sellers usually do when they are out of a product, as a way to get you to view sellers other items! And I'm sure if they are out and you used BIN option, they would find you one in a hurry, lol!!

It also can just be a uploadig error, there's loads of programs that make it quicker to upload your products via a spreadsheet, and it's pretty easy to mistype a price or title in a spreadsheet!
I used to be an IT manager for a giftware company and we had a couple of staff who's job was to find and correct these mistakes on a daily basis on our listings.

Seems like a great price, until you look at the S&H. Is this against ebay rules? Seems like they are trying to sucker people that have bad eyesight or don't pay attention. It's expedited shipping, but that's the only option.

Here in Oz, sellers now have to pay a percentage on the shipping as well as the actual item cost - to try to prevent scamming.

This isn't for just this listing but if you see stupid stuff like this look at the description then to the far right. There's a link to report the sellers item.

You report it for listing practices > Other listing practices > Shipping charges...or somthing like that.

If enough people report it they take it down.

Unless they have changed the price recently, it isn't that unusual. $10 bucks for expedited shipping from an individual costs in that range. I ordered two games from Best Buy last night and the shipping for Next day (instead of two day) was almost $30. I took the free expedited shipping, but it is what it is. You can, of course, still do better if you are familiar with the options even with notification - but if you go in the UPS now and get something that size packed and shipped two days you will easily spend $10.

Blades figure was 6.99 S&H was 21.00 minimum. Not sure why someone would buy that unless it was a mistake. You can get the whole adventure pack for cheaper and several other cheaper options were available on e-bay at the same time even if they changed it to $10 S&H.

Your paying $9 for a fire trap with $26 shipping! It would be cheaper to go and get it in store!

The sad part about these two High Five items on EBay are merely the images of the character telling you to enter your info to receive the figure....for $80.

That should be reported, to be honest. No doubt that eBay will remove them.

Actually nigh on $4500 and they are the three rarest figurines available.

I just paid the equivalent of $US800 for a Crystal Whirlwind and last week I got my Gold Kraken for $610 (which is less than it usually goes for). For a serious collector, they may choose to pay the premium to save the effort of trying to track them down individually. I know that I now (pragmatically) expect to wait for an Eon (giggle!) for a reasonably priced Red Camo to show up.

Ehh, I'd never pay that much for an OPENED pair of the rarest Skylanders, plus one not as rare Employee Exclusive version.

Considering that SSA variants can easily be faked since they don't register as anything else but a normal figure, I'd steer clear of that auction. Two rare SSA variants that aren't closed? People with the time and resources could easily replicate those variants and sell the knockoffs like this in a $4000 lot, conveniently placed with one real variant to try and give them some legitimacy.

Yeah, it was some time ago when I found this item so I forgot about the two SSA variants being opened.

LOL! This is the same moron that tries to sell purple eye brawl for $400 because he managed to slightly move the figure forward in the package. This guy is full of ridiculous prices. I love that he's started doing financing choices for his Skylanders though. I guess if he can't get anyone to buy it at a ridiculous price, maybe he'll somehow convince them with that nice low price they could pay to him for a while.
