Since the Light and Dark elements aren't in wave 3, they'll almost definitely be revealed at Toy Fair. ...they'd better not hold them til Skylanders 5 to say they can use backwards compatibility, but then again, they wouldn't do something like that, right...?

Got some news...
I was checking Facebook, under Skylanders Game.
One fan, Skylander Lexi, said that her mom got info on Wave 3's release (her mom use to nanny for an employee from Walmart), which will be mid-December. But the triple pack w/ High Five will be end of January. I wouldn't be surprised if single High Five comes out that time as well.
Wouldn't be surprised if TRU does something crazy like they did for Wave 2. Anyone else think the same way?
If they did, fine. Otherwise, I'll go to Target. Walmart's stock stinks, unless I go to one of their main stores (Buena Park or Orange). TRU may be pricey, but I got pretty much my entire first two waves there...except for MoM, Nitro KK and the OBC trap

What does X2 Wallop mean?

It's a bigger Wallop toy that's even bigger in-game and double the power.

it means that because he became rare in some areas they ( activison/toys for bob ) they will be putting 2 of him in every wave 3 trapmaster box

It annoys me how Echo might be wave 5... She honestly doesn't seem like a Wave 5 character. Honestly i would rather Her then Flip Wreck.. I hope Echo comes in wave 4 with rocky roll, and fling kong. Then Flip wreck can be wave 5

2 Wallops in a SHIPMENT BOX. As in each store gets a certain amount of boxes in each shipment, each one packaged with multiple trap masters, cores, and traps. In wave 1, there was only 1 wallop per shipment box, or case as I like to call it. Because he was rare, they are now going to continue to ship him, this time with 2 wallops per shipment case.

Since there's High Five in there the Frito-Lays thing would suggest the cores won't be out till January at least. Trap Masters, Minis and Traps could come sooner though.

My guess based off this info is that we "might" see TRU (maybe target?) get the trap masters around xmas (like 3 days before or 3 days after). The triple packs and singles will more then likely come out in JAN after the Lays promo ends. The traps will come whenever because I don't see them as any sort of "promo" or Hot Toy Alert...but trap masters I def could see as one much like TRU on the DEC 22nd last year (replacing cores with traps masters)

I mean it does get ppl into TRU a few days before xmas and maybe pick up more toys for ppl since they are there.

I'm going early to mid December for Trap Masters and Minis, cores in January and agree with ZapNorris on the traps.
Then again, be prepared for anything. No one expected Wave 2 to be early released @ TRU two days after the game's launch. But it gave me plenty of characters to upgrade & max out.

I found the wave 3 info early in the morning yesterday, posted it, checked this forum here afterwards and dark52 had already posted it here. Not sure where he got it from (I guess it's a similar/same source) but I got it from a wholesaler, otherwise I would have linked darks post as my source.

It is definitely "confirmed", the word you all like so much. It's not a rumor. It's has never been clever to post sources here because Activision often removes the items and one can be pretty sure that one will never find any early information on this website ever again. FYI: There is no inside source!

any idea on release dates... mostly for trap masters

The release dates greatly differ from country to country. Last year we got wave 3 in the mid of december in Germany, the US had to wait till january for most of it. Therefore the rumored dates are not applicable in the US.

My sentiments exactly my friend. Those two were my favorites in this game and now we have to wait for them.

I think Wave 3 will be out late December to early January. That's usually when the third wave is out, right?

Anyway, my predictions for the last two waves are...

WAVE 4:
Knight Light, Blackout

WAVE 5:
, Knight Mare, Spotlight

Being a TRU employee, I'd expect to see this all drop the Sunday or Tuesday before Black Friday at TRU... I have no confirmation, but based on the past year's "holiday wave", this makes absolute perfect sense... It is also safe to say that Winterfest Lob-Star will be in this wave too. *hinthint*

Well at least on the plus side, we may see them soon. Swap Force was slow because the waves shelf warmed for a long time and almost every figure was super common, but this game clearly is doing better. I'm amazed at how many times I go to a store and see a nearly empty shelf at Targets and even Toysrus tend to get a good amount of sold products. This game seems to be a huge improvement in sales over Swap Force.

Well, Trexroarr, that would be cool. I would guess a Sunday as the best bet because that has been the date for each TT item released. Plus Blastermind would help me knock out all the Magic Gates.
As for the cores, probably January because of the Frito-Lay giveaway for High Five lasts until New Year's Eve.
I hope that Knight Light & Knight Mare will be out in Wave 5, plus the Light/Dark traps.

Yesterday I found two Single Packs of Steam Puff and Gizmo, two Cores (respectively from Fire and Tech) from the next game, which were sold exclusively in my town in Italy, for only 100€ each.

Now watch those two characters become real in the next game xD
