Well, now that this one is out of the bag.

Ugh. If you care about the minis, you still have to get the Fire Mini pack to get Weeruptor.

The *only* Buddy/Duo packs should have been Hijix, Bop, Spry, and Drobit - the four that are in mini two-packs with a previously-released Sidekick.

Of course, none of those four had a corresponding "regular" figure released with this game - which would explain *why* they picked these. Personally, I would have just gone without releasing them at all.

Activision has one example of logic in their corporation: If it means more money, do it.

Minis are there way to repose without reposing. I do wonder how gnarly barkclay and the easter weeruptor will be sold.

so its not called buddy pack anymore?... i guess we will have some surprises coming, i will advice everyone to wait with buying the minis. until they have released all the 'duo packs'.... so your not ending up with having doubles.

I wouldn't say no to Hijinx+Bat Spin either (while not identical, they're similar).

i just had a thought.... maybe we get a duo pack of spry with a new s4 spyro... that would be awesome. i would buy *cough* crap *cough*... trap team then.

Duo pack is just the European name.

So glad I stopped collecting packages, trying to remove me from another $20 is going to be FAIL.

All reposed Skylanders were already announced. No S4 Spyro this year. Mainly the buddy packs would be for certain reposed Skylanders and their mini counterparts, like S4 Gill Grunt with Gill Runt and S2 Fryno and Small Fry. There's a chance of a possible S3 Jet Vac with Pet-Vac in a Buddy Pack.

I agree with Aura24 here...the only other Duo Pack left would be the S3 Full Blast Jet-Vac & Pet-Vac.

Just buying all of the individual traps matches the SSA investment. It has gone nuts if you get it all just to open / play. Just a couple of games ago I had it all and dupes. Now I'm doing good to get half of the stuff just to play (no packages).

Why 3 different colored horns all in one item? The art matches SF color, TT Fryno is missing red and Small Fry is missing all the color on his horn. Not a selling point.

I found this "buddy pack" in Walmart 10/17/14 - it is Walmart exclusive in US as it says on the package. I'm in California, near SFBA.

I've gotta agree with this, I just grabbed new Pop Fizz...but Fryno and Jetvac look poorly painted.

Why even buy this? You guys who do buy this are going to have to double dip on Small Fry in order to get Weeruptor. Or am I wrong? It seems Walmart got the short end of the stick with exclusives this year. I'd rather have enchanted or glow in the dark figures...no sense in buddy packs.

Is small fry supposed to come out in a duo pack with weeruptor or something? I want the easter weeruptor anyways... wonder how he will be released.

I will save it (Wait to open) with the receipt and return it when I get confirmation that he is coming out second edition.

I saw a single Hog Wild Fryno at Gamestop yesterday. Havent seen the buddy pack at Walmart though.

I would think the poster would be proof enough. The minis are being distributed on a per-element basis with both minis of a particular element being offered in the same pack. We've already seen this with those available as part of the launch wave. Unless you're collecting every package that every character is available in, you're wasting your money on this one unless you don't intend to pick up Weeruptor when the dual pack comes out.
