I recently got swap force - a year late I know - but I got the dark edition for $50 at my gamestop. Anyways in my crazy excitement I bought a Jade Fire Kracken. Then I snagged Legendary Night Shift/Leg Free Ranger/Leg Zoohlou for $29 on Ebay. Then I made this happy little spread sheet - all I needed to unlock every thing was Ruble Rouser, Stink Bomb, Trap Shadow, and Magna Charge. So I was becoming impatient and got Ruble, Stink, and Trap off of Amazon for $40 total. Now all I have left is Magna Charge. I'm trying to get him below retail as there is a sad cardless one sitting in my Walmart for full price - "theres nothing wrong with it, why do you want a discount on it?" (maybe because all of the packaging is gone except this little bubble!!!!)

Anyways... I am wondering is he worth the $15? Or should I go my second route - Spy Rise/Freeze Blade - if I could get them cheapish.

I totally dig Magna Charge.

Magna was my number 1 fave for awhile, but Spy has overtaken him (especially with Bomb). Blade is excellent as well.

All three are worth owning, imho. Why not? :shrug:

Magna Charge is great fun to play with . As long as that one at walmart has his card and webcode then who cares if he is only in the bubble. I bought a Lightcore drobot in a bubble with the back gone . Unless you are a collector who cares about packaging .

If you can find a SpyRise or Freezeblade for 25 - 50 percent cheaper than yes go for them instead .

I would go for the Magna-Charge, as long as the card,etc. is with him. He is a blast to play with and certainly potent enough. If you can find Freeze-Blade and Spy-Rise for $15 total, then do that.

I never could find MC, so I had to get Freeze Blade and Spy Rise instead. Though from what I've seen of Magna C, I would trade two swappers for him in a heartbeat

Looks like I will be getting Magna then - but after next week - I work 42.5 hours next week so he will be a reward - I just hope he is still there and some scalper didn't get him!

You should get him asap, stick in a closet, and reward yourself after. Like Badwolfmichael said, he's not easy to find.

If he is in fact gone, don't be too upset; there's really nothing he can do that another Skylander can't do better. Want to pull in coins? Rattle can reach even farther with his Spring Loaded Snake. Want to displace shielded enemies? Ranger's Ride the Wind grabs everyone around you (excluding golems and punks, of course; Magna cannot grab them either). Want to unload a hail of bullets at your foes? Not only can Spy's blasters be used indefinitely without a forced cool-down period, they also inflict a slow effect upon hit enemies.

I need to go to a store near you! Every time I checked, Walmart, Gamestop, Target, and Best Buy never had any s!!!

I have never ever seen a Freeze Blade , Trap Shadow or Doomstone sold here .

I suggest getting him. Before you get his attraction upgrade (that should be the first one you get) pair him with a good bottom so he doesn't die easily.

I personally love Freeze Blade, but Magna Charge is so fun that you should just get him first.

Magna Charge is almost impossible to find these days. All I see are Stink Bomb, Rubble Rouser and Spy Rise.

I've seen a total of 1 Magna Charge since around when SSF came out, but the packaging was stapled

magna charge is really good

I use Magna Charge the most of all the Swappers in Swap Force. He is the best for dispatching enemies with his top half where he zaps them up above his head and then you can toss them out of the stage for a quick kill. You really need this in times attacks and so on. Unfortunately they nerfed him for Trap Team and he cannot toss anyone out as they usually bounce back onto the stage, which makes him nearly useless in that game. He's sightly on the weak side without his toss out ability.

Matching him with a good bottom half makes him better, but I've never bothered to test out all the combinations as I like his speedy bottom half.

Please don't worry about missing out on him if you are able to order online. You can always get one for around $15 online, less if you can do without the packing. Ebay is best for that of course.

Sorry, but I totally disagree. His top half blaster is awesome with regard to damage and range and even if you can't throw opponents out, you can turn them into weapons, or hit them with the kitchen sink if you will. I have paired him with Rattle Shake's bottom and really enjoyed the outcome. With your choices, I might try Magna Bomb. A sometimes invisible Magna might be awesome. Have fun!

Magna Charge hasn't been seen in my area since late 2013. I'm sure he's more readily available in other countries. It seems the cores from early waves were really overproduced and can't seem to sell while cores like Scratch and Punk Shock from the final waves are nowhere to be found. I don't understand why the triple pack with Scratch was released in Australia and not in the US (same with the Giants triple pack including Bash).

Hes not there any more - some one must have snatched him up. I'm really bummed. Back to evilbay

I found mine at a Walgreen's store, of all places. It might not be a bad place to check!

Wow, I usually only see Free Rangers Overstocked to the max there, and they seem to be very overpriced at my Walgreens :/

I got Nitro Magna Charge off of Amazon for $13, he has no card, just in his little bubble, but I don't care, I was going to open him up and use him anyways. The cool benefit to wait a year after the game comes out is I have all the non-rae variants instead of a million doubles!

No not really, its about the 1/3 and 1/2 price the figure for air mail charges and if you choose surface mail its about less then a quarter .

for sure i would have to do air mail but i think its just to far away, i might be better of buying one online for like 20-25 bucks with shipping.

I have been posting letters and goody packages for years and well i would say its 95 percent successful . You are actually paying people to make sure its delivered and they dont want to get fired .

Magna Charge is one of my favs.

update for me. i got my magna charger. weirdly enough the nitro version was cheaper than the regular version, still cost me 25 bucks for it but that was the best deal i could find online.

Same boat as you. Just about to beat Skylanders Giants. And i wanted to get all 16 swapable guys before i start Swap Force. Dished out $20 on ebay today. Which i made little arragement with the seller to pay for it on April 1st... cause that when Ebay Bucks come in.

I am in love with Magna Charge he makes the Arena super easy... just magnet them with the wheel. If you put wash buckler on top you can trap em all in bubbles and then magnet them away!

Magna Charge can't be found new and is hard to find new so if you want retail or less used is your only venue. From a character standpoint he's clearly worth it. Ball is in your court now chief.

I saw Magna Charge new at my TRU last time I went. Didn't realize it was that rare.

He was common when released during wave 1/2, but after that he thinned out. For those getting swappers new today he's the only one you have to resort to eBay to get.

Brand new off ebay. $20 + free shipping.... he the last guy i am waiting for to arrive in mail for my Swap Force to be Complete.
