I still kinda think Double Trouble 1.5 should have special recognition (As a Series 1 figure appearing as Series 2 in-game). But the game doesn't count it as any different from Series 2 on the Collections screen. In the same way the original minis show as "Series 1" on loading (the new minis don't show a Series at all), but there is only one entry for each mini's name on the Collections page.
So on that basis, I think the new in-game total looks like this:
Released to date: 216 =
174 previous + 8 original minis now playable + 10 (normal) Trap Masters* + 13 (normal) Cores + 4 new minis + 3 Dark + 3 Legendary + 1 Nitro
(*including Gear Shift, which some of us have got)
Officially announced to date: 238 =
216 above + 6 (normal) Trap Masters + 12 (normal) Cores + 4 new minis (in packs with re-runs of 4 existing ones)
Expected/Leaked : 250 =
238 above + 8 in-game variants + 4 from new elements
- Legendary Bushwhack
- Love Potion Pop Fizz
- Nitro Head Rush
- Winterfest Lob-Star
- Power Punch Pet Vac
- Eggscellent Weeruptor
- Gnarley Barkley
- King Cobra Cadabra
- Knight Mare
- Knight Light
- Spotlight
- Blackout
There are also 8 Eon's Elite, but I don't think we know yet whether these will show as in-game variants, or just act like chase variants.
Have I got this right? (If not please don't flame me, just send corrections.)
