Now let's predict WHEN wave 3 happens.

My predictions are...

Blastermind, Kaboom, Tuff Luck come out at gamestop mid-november

Traps and minis hit TRU right before christmas

cores come out in 2015.

That was my exact prediction! I predict pretty much everything you said PLUS maybe something about the light and dark skylanders.

I only go for trap masters, but I predict Ka-Boom, Blastermind, and Tuff Luck. Which would stink cause I'm not getting any of those ones. I need Short Cut or Enigma, just don't think they are coming until wave 4. Hope I'm wrong.

Blastermind is probably a pretty safe bet. Beyond that, I hesitate to speculate really.

Wave 5 always only have like 1 of the gimmicks each time...so my money is still on there being 3 trap masters. Then there will be 3 more of the regular elements, as well as the 2 new ones, so there will still be 5 total left to wait for. Another wave of 3 and a wave of 2 to end it up I think.

The light trap master is Knight light
The core is spotlight
The dark trap master is Knight mare
The core is blackout

I hope it's dark because spotlight looks EXACTLY like flashwing

I honestly don't see Knight Light or Knight Mare coming until wave 4 at the earliest. I'd love to see them sooner though.

I think it would be kind of interesting if they released the dark skylanders and the light traps first (or vice versa)

Nothing personal to Skylanders boy & girl, but I hope one part of that is not true. needs to be in wave 3 and he doesn't need to be a later release. Besides as much as I love the guy, he sure doesn't warrant being a final or almost final character in the game. Also I still confidently follow my theory and hopes that like the other games, all the Undead are released within the first 3 waves.

Well who's in wave 3 then?

I'm not sure who is going to be in Wave 3 and I don't really think I care so long as I can collect them but I have a feeling Frito-lays 3 characters won't be until Wave 4 and I -know- Wave 3 is going to have Elite Spyro and Chop Chop so the others will come after since the release of the first two is early Nov unless they add more cast. Either way for us Canadian's we will probably get them -way- later the way things are going for Wave 2 we still haven't seen anything beyond Legendary Deja Vu at least on the west side. Heck I thought Wave 3 was gonna be out end of Oct first week Nov so maybe we'll get Wave 2 and 3 at the same time.

Just wondering, when does wave 3 usually come out?

I don't have any idea what will be in wave 3 (except probably a magic Trap Master) but I have two guesses as to when. These are just guesses. I suspect we will see wave 3 either the beginning or middle of November, to draw attention away from Disney Infinity's toy box set and characters coming out then, or we will see it right before Christmas like in past years. I could also see one of the new elements coming out with wave 3 if it is Nov. in order to make a big splash, so to speak.

I'm only "sure" about Blastermind, as the Magic Trap Master for Wave 3.
Another might be Ka Boom, since we saw his figure the first time, along with Bushwhack and Head Rush.

Short Cut would be amazing, but I'm not going to wait for the impossible to happen...

As for the Cores, Bat Spin, Flip Wreck and High Five should be a logical guess, since I think the contest will be over, by then, and maybe also a few other, like Rocky Roll and Fling Kong.

This could be jumping the gun, but I may have found possible evidence of some guys in wave 3 here. Not big evidence, but just something to hope for. In this link, there are high res images that state are final molds of , , and here. They are shown with many characters who have already come out. Now again this isn't great evidence, but with these and the actual in hand images of and , I can safely assume this could rap up the Trap Masters at least for wave 3.

I just hate these long gaps between waves. Two right off the bat, then the 7th inning stretch.

I know for a fact 2 trap masters are tuff luck and thunderbolt from GameStop computer.. Not sure about the rest since I got caught looking!!
