I was wondering about the Apple approval thing. I've known them to be slow and keep apps from being released on time. That's probably why they don't set release dates for updates. They may be able to push small updates, but those that have to be updated through the App Store have to be approved. I just wish they would have came in here and let us know. Orville was posting over there. He could have easily posted over here.

Yeah. It has been close to a month and nothing from Activision but vague platitudes. The official forums over there are barren of responses. It is pretty sad that it was only accidentally that they actually communicated.

They never seem to communicate on their own forums. It always seemed that their people who moderate their forums, social media, etc are just the typical support person with little knowledge. Advisor_Orville seemed to be in the know as if he was on or with the developer team.

I fixed all the problems on my own a couple days after the iOS 8 update. Hopefully none of their new lost islands updates screw anything else up.

I finally updated to iOS 8 and lost my magic sanctum, magic toy link tower, and Fire toy link tower :-( I tried going to activision a website but when I signed in to report the problem their site had an error and said to try later... I hope it gets fixed soon. Is there an email address? I don't use Facebook and I'd rather email than call.

You just upgraded and had that problem? Strange? I thought they had fixed it. I upgraded on day 1, but didn't open the app for over a week. I didn't lost anything.

After today's update I am still unable to load the game. I still see the blue "Activision" screen and then the app crashes. Un-installed and re installed again. I Turned the IPad off and on and even de installed some old apps thinking that they may interfere with LI. I still cannot play the game.

The only option I see is restoring the IPad and see if there is any luck, but I don't want to loose my other games, that would be painful for me.

I also contacted Activision Assistant, no reply.

I think I am done with the game. What a shame, I have 16000 gems and over 300M coins that will get lost.

3 iPad 2s plus iPhone 4S and 5S.

One of the iPads hadn't been updated since the original IOS7 so would no longer load any update.

We had no choice but load IOS 8. No problems.

I still can not bring myself to update the others.

The app update gave me my sanctum back! Case closed for me! Good luck to everyone else who still has issues
