So, the other day I was sent a message from the Skylanders team. They wanted to give me a gift for being so devoted to Skylanders.

I got the gift they wanted to send me, and to me, it's a whopper alright. Whoever from Vicarious Visions and TFB look at this, and can get word to whoever's idea it was to send this to me, tell them I said thanks, or I will say it here.

THANKS FOR THE GIFT! I really do appreciate it.

As for what I was given. Here it is -



I was given a Chase Variant Scorp, Chase Variant Wrecking Ball, and a copy of Strata: The Art of Skylanders Swap Force. Apparently not many people were given this outside of employees and their friends and family.

What was really nice about it, though, is the entire team signed it. That was very nice of them.

Wow, TFB and VV are being generous this year. Signed figures, unique gifts, youtubers being sent all of Wave 1 and Kaos Traps... Though it's weird that art book isn't avaliable to the public - plenty of games do it and even if they're crazy expensive it's a joy to grab one at a book store, take a break from whatever you were searching there and give a look at some concept art.

The artbook is over 200 pages big by the way. It's crazy awesome.

Congratulations. It was quite the feat to buy and set up all the combinations...I'm sure it took a lot of dedication and time (and perhaps frustrated family members as well). A wonderful appreciation gift for a true fan!

The art is strictly based around Swap Force characters (ie Swappers and Newlanders). However, there are some really cool designs that preceeded what we see the characters as today.

Nah. I think they just got busy and didn't send it then. I just got my message from the team about a week or two ago. They were probably busy, which is understandable.

To everyone. I will take some pics of the book in some way, but it may be a few days or so. With Trap Team coming this weekend, I am gearing up for all of the purchasing I need to do. I thought about breaking out everything Skylanders related I own and putting it up in my kitchen for a group shot. It may take the entire kitchen, though.

I will take pics as soon as I can and show some people. Not all 220+ pages, but some.

Alright then If you do post some pictures can you do Riptide, Countdown, Fire Kracken, Free Ranger, Rattle Shake , Freeze Blade, Wash Buckler, Magna Charge and Slobber Tooth?

Not all the pages? ...awww come on bro why not? ...LOL ...just kidding. We all know you can't much less have the time to do that. Just some of the ones that look cool and didn't make it to the game. and a few of the hand drawn ones. The 3D renderings are cool an all, but being an artist i'm more into the freehand sketched work.
