Im thinking about getting him since gamestop has the "buy six skylanders get one free!" deal. Lol. I know, its a weird deal. Anyways... Can you tell me about him? Whats your favorite trap shadow swap? what is he like in game? Is he good enough for me to buy him? Or should I finally get Nitro Freeze bLade?

He's decent in the game. He can only have one trap active at a time and he claws damage is okay.

Trap Shadow's top half is really good and powerful if you use him right (much better than ), and his bottom half is pretty decent, but not as cool as his top. His top attacks consist of throwing traps (you can adjust the throwing distance) and claw attacks. Like I said, his bottom is decent, mostly mediocre. It has an attack that shoots shadow projectiles which I never use. It's most useful if you upgrade it, because then you can (of course) sneak around, but also leave pawprints that can damage enemies. When he stops sneaking, he does a kind of sneak attack and damages enemies close to him. Personally, for his top half, I use the claw attacks more frequently, but the traps are good for when you want to take care of an enemy far away while dealing with more enemies close up with your claws. He also has a pretty cool combo that can do quite a bit of damage. I'd get trap shadow first, and not just because my username implies that . However, if you mainly want speed, go Freeze Blade. It's best once you have both, because Trap Blade is an EXCELLENT combination.

Trap is good, Shadow is meh.

He is fun to play and is one of my favourite Swappers. Make sure you sure you upgrade his traps on his top half . I have learnt that mistake already.

Freeze Blade is indefinetly better.

Trap for the win. Shadow is a loss to me. His footprints do minimal damage. When I'm playing nightmare i dont even go invisible with him. I like using Trap Ranger, Trap Rise, the affore mentioned Trap Blade and a few others. While running nightmare his level maxed out too fast so now i use him as back up.

I'd recommend getting both!

he's not the worst, but he's not the best. He is however one of the coolest looking characters in Swap Force

Freeze Blade is amazing, but Trap Shadow is still very good.
