Well if you enter & win more than once in a day, be smart & use a different name AND address. I'm sure they'll catch on if you leave multiple winning messages within a day on their recording via phone entry. Keep in mind that this runs through September.

Has anyone else been able to use the app more than once today? I mean, with different emails and such? Cause it seems like they've changed the coding since yesterday. It just seems to go to the "stop" page. Is it recognizing the device?

Why is everyone working so hard to cheat the system? I mean, the QDRS promo was so poorly planned that cheating was almost a pre-requesite for winning, but this promo seems to have most of those issues worked out. So, play your once a day (twice, I suppose, if you just have to use the app *and* call the number) and let others have a chance to win. It's the second day and we already have folks bragging about multiple wins... yeesh.

I'd love for Frito to design a contest where you buy a bag of chips, mail in a post card from inside and they randomly draw out 5,000 or so of the post cards (no purchase necessary option, mail in a self-addressed, stamped envelope and they'll mail you out a post card to fill out and mail back in for the drawing... just make sure you have it filled out and mailed back in time!). No cheating and fair for everyone (in the US, at least).

@UncleBob - i played legit so far since i can only use the phone for calling this time around since i don't have a smart phone so my plays are done until the next day, etc. i'm only doing the 4 max if i'm able to win them this time around and not another beyond that.

That's sort of an absurd expectation. You don't think there are tons of scalpers out there playing constantly to win as many as possible to sell? At least here there are fans trying to win, and if they win multiples who cares? The limit is 4 per household. I'm happy for anyone who can win multiples because there are 3 variants this time. Most of us want a whole set. Let them win their 4.

Also, those mail in contests are a joke. They have no way of limiting it to 1 entry per person either, so scalpers will just mail in thousands of entries and win all of the prizes. Lego does those contests a lot. In fact I just entered one this month. Never have I won a single mail in contest.

@CamoForever: did you win all 3 in the same day? I was curious if that's allowed because it's different people. It's not really clear in the rules.

I must have called like 500 times and haven't won yet. Is there a way to skip the recording?

One play per person/address is in the rules. You may be disqualified for the subsequent wins if you use the same address. Yet this one page on DarkSpyro just shows how people seem to overlook that. I don't mind the Skylanders fans on these forums winning multiple. We need to make it tougher for those scalpers like the guy selling a lot of 12 QuickDraw Rattle Shake on EBay...overall, he must have won at least 20 of them based on the EBay auction history.

I just got this and I used three emails yesterday. I love hot dog and I've never won a contest, I just want to win for once but it seems as if I won't.

From what im reading you all are typing...looks like another one of those Frito Lay THINGS im not going to win....oh well, no biggy...its not an In-Game Variant.

It seems that you only get 1 chance on blippar now every 24 hours I played last night 8pm and it would not let me play again till after 8pm tonight and you know I was loser both times with app the bummer hot dog screen poped up of course. So it's not like yesterday where you could try a few times. The phone call is going to be easier to win at then this 24 hour 1 shot app. Good luck all

Actually the exact rules state 1 play per person/email address/phone number per day. Nowhere does it state per address. That's why it's confusing. Theoretically each member of the family can win in the same day. I know that was allowed in the QDRS promo.

I won again just earlier at 9:22 with the phone number again.

exactly what times did you call in at? do you remember? I'm trying to find a pattern to the random times LOL!

Is it better to call in with my numbers in a row or stagger throughout the day? I called in 6 times tonight and nothing.

does anyone think the phone number used actually matters for phone entries? or is it just to verify eligibility prior to playing? because I borrowed a friend's phone and played, actually won, then gave my name and address. But the phone number doesn't match my address obviously. I'm kinda getting worried about my win lol.

I don't think they are going to check yellow book to see if you're name matches with the address.

LOL!!! I hope not! It gets confusing when you finally win and you used different borrowed phones. I wonder what would happen if I won again with the same winning phone number from before, but gave a different address? LOL!!! I think I've figured out the winning random time patterns. It's the same as the QDRS patterns. It's worked twice for me, and twice for my friends using my patterns now.

I have a list of 8 numbers at this point. Am going to try after it switches over around 1 EST.

It's pretty close to impossible to have any kind of pattern....think about it. Tons of people call in and/or use the app at different times through the day. Without having a hive mentality of what time each prospective person is calling in and winning there's just no logical nature to it. You're pattern couldn't possibly take into account those people on 3rd shift that leave work due to injury and sickness that decide to call and win or lose, or Joe Slacker that decides to go on an unauthorized smoke break at 9:42 am, or mom awakened by screaming baby at 5:18am and so on.....

The pattern I'm talking about is the "random time" they programmed in the computer for the winning time. The first person to enter on or after that "random time" is deemed the winner. So yes, there can and is a pattern. I just won AGAIN for a friend using my pattern at the SAME random time slot I determined. There's no guarantee that you'll be the first person at that selected time, but it is possible for that selected time to follow a pattern. They don't choose it randomly for every 15min game period, it follows a daily pattern in the computer. If I'm wrong, then I sure as hell am the luckiest Midas golden touch person to enter this contest considering it has worked every time I've used it today. I figured out yesterday that it was the same pattern they used in the QDRS promo.

EDIT: I should also mention that I have extensive Bioinformatics training which I used/applied to figure out these patterns during the last promo. Not saying I'm 100% right, but it sure as hell is working out for me and my friends!

That's odd. I thought only 1 person won per 15 minutes. I guess that wouldn't make any sense.

how could you both have won during the same game period? allskate03 at 1218 central and lcopley98 at 1:17 est? That's peculiar and interesting... never seen that before. Could it be overflow from non-winners the prior day?

How many people do you think are winner from the app? I know more people are calling then apping going on. They have to give the prizes away so I say overflow my thoughts. Good luck all now I just need to win a few more and hope that I can get one of each color to arrive here. I want purple and green the most and red last.

Yeah I just won during that SAME game period as you!!! How interesting... multiple winners during the same period.... it's either overflow or an error in their system...

I sure hope you used different addresses for the wins cause I'm still not certain if it's per person a day or per address a day. The official rules stated "1 play per person/email address/phone number per day" so maybe we're all okay lol.

I tried the scan with app had hotdog go crazy in my phone the told me I lost. Since then I have won twice by phone from the phone with the app. Have had two losses with a phone that didn't scan the app

As for the multiple winners... the rules clearly state 1 winner every 15 minute game period. So maybe it's a glitch? I hope not. I hope if it is, they honor those wins!
