When I went to Walmart today they scanned Jade Fire Kraken and told me the system says "deleted" for the item. Which the manager told me means they are no longer going to carry him and are not going to get anymore. Has anyone else heard of this?

That is odd. I was at Walmart two days ago. They had three JFK's. I went yesterday as well and they were gone. I just assumed that someone had bought them.

If an item is set as deleted the above statement is true. They can't order anymore and when the stock in the store and warehouse is gone the item is gone.

Deleted means it's not something we normally carry, and can't order more of. It doesn't mean we aren't *getting* more. It's up to the vendor if they send us more or not (Activision in this case).

Maybe they decided (last minute) to make it a Target exclusive?

My bet is that they got yelled at by Activision about selling it early and this was their solution to prevent any more from getting put on the shelves or heading out the doors.

Mostly, this. Although it's not entirely up to the vendor - basically, "deleted" just means that the individual store isn't able to order it and it's not something they normally carry (which would include one-shot items like JFK). Often, these items won't have a "home" on the "modular" (a specific location just for that item).

Nothing to worry/get excited about - in this case, it just pretty much means it's a "one and done" shipment - like most other special figures.

things like this makes me think that the stores aren't making as much as you think when it comes to skylanders. i noticed jfk not showing around my walmart and they only got two boxes in, and the skylanders are all moved around again and close to infinity. they weren't selling except for those and i think there's a good chance they'll barely be stocked anymore for trap team.

Finally found JFK in Michigan. Only one more to go, that is if they do indeed release Quickdraw for mass retail.

JFK is officially in the newest walmart circular for the upcoming week. My nearest walmart finally put them back out for sale, limited quantities came out to be 4 out on the shelves.

Yes... I saw JFK in the advert this AM and, to be honest, Walmart was a complete disaster. I stopped by the first one and there were none out and someone in Electronics asked if I needed help and I said "there is a new Skylander in your ad today", and she said, "Oh! I know exactly what you are looking for. Those are not out yet. I will go get them." So I waited for a while and she came out with this BIG box (about 18" wide x 12" deep x 48" tall). I was a bit skeptical to say the least. I was right. Inside this monster was another one of the cardboard S:SA figure displays (with S:SA figures already in it) that I have seen popping up at Walmarts recently. To her credit, the box *did* say "do not put out until 6/29" on the side of it for some inexplicable reason. So I nicely let her know that this was not what I was looking for and described how the swap force figures come in boxes of 5 or 6 units per box and motioned with my hands to the size of the box. She thought that she had more and disappeared for another 5 minutes or so and then came back empty handed with a story about trucks coming in tonight or tomorrow AM and I could try back then. :-\

Second Walmart I tried - jackpot! Well, sort of. There were three figures left. One completely out of the package. One 1/2 out of the package and the last one had the cardboard bent over right at the top over JFK's "bubble". At least I do open all my figures for gameplay so I chose the last, "bent package" figure.

What a mess Walmart. If you put something in your advert, at least have the decency to have the product out on the shelf on the day the ad breaks. Sheesh.

If they are going to be the ones handling Quickdraw Rattleshake, I am sure it will be a cluster like this was. Sigh.

In BC, Canada EB Games and Walmart have JFK available. Pop Thorn is only Target so far and Wind Up is only EB Games so far.

Stopped by Walmart in Tacoma, WA on my way to work and picked up 2 JFKs. They rang up for $11.96 each.

I checked my walmart today and didn't have any. I saw you can pre order them online for the 15th??? so I did that. here is the link if that is easier for anyone.
