This half-wave is packed with must-have figures... Stink Bomb (first stealth swapper), Spy Rise (perhaps the most powerful new swapper), Rubble Rouser (first earth swapper) and LC Whamshell (I believe the original was never sold here). I wouldn't be surprised if they just sold their allotment through.

They did have wham shell here, i went to eb games (ages ago) looking for wham shell and they said " the last one was sold yesterday)"

I don't suppose anyone knows when we're seeing the next wave of core figures? I've gone and ordered Phantom Cynder online as a sort of tradition (ordered S1 back in SA, and S2 for Giants, why not S3 too?), but I'm curious.

This should just be the Official NZ Hunting Topic or something. But it's not, so I have some news for those of you in Australia:

I haven't checked yet myself but several members on Ghostroaster say that we WILL be getting the Easter toys, since they're in EB GAMES' system... Has anyone here checked? I haven't been to my store since last week, so I couldn't check. You can't preorder them though, supposedly because EB Games aren't sure of how much they'll be getting.

Have checked EB Games in Australia and we are getting the easter line at the start of April and you are right with the pre ordering so we are just going to have to watch out for them

In Melbourne: I called the only Big W close to me and they didn't have them yet, but I'm hoping that they will get them before April. I'll keep an eye out for them.

Wave 3.5 is out where I live in NZ. So they might be out everywhere else! (No triple packs, sadly.)

Nothing in Hastings yet, perhaps in a few more days it'll trickle over here.

Wave 3.5 is/has been available in Hastings, I'm not sure exactly when they arrived but I just scooped up Dune Bug, Hyper Beam Prism Break, Horn Blast Whirlwind and Smolder Dash from The Warehouse (Phantom Cynder was there, but I'd already ordered her online).

I found the easterlanders in JB Hi-Fi in NZ, there were around 4 of each.

Scored Trigger Happy and Fryno, and they're ordering Punk Shock in for me. They did have more, but they were already spoken for. Again, thanks for the heads up, otherwise I might've missed this opportunity.

Honestly, I was starting to worry that we wouldn’t get the tail end of Swapforce at all. Relieved to see the rest come in now, and all we need to complete the set is Doom Stone. And getting Nitro Freeze Blade and Enchanted Star Strike is a nice bonus too!
Having said that, aside from Enchanted Star Strike, the shipment seems really small. I missed out on getting Scratch from EB Games Wellington (my girlfriend got the last one there), and I had to travel out to EB Games Paraparaumu to get mine. Both said they had only received two Scratch figures for the whole store (and one had been pre-ordered). It seems that collectors will need to get in quick for the last few (although JB and Mighty Ape have yet to see any in – which is odd).

One wonders if we'll be seeing Nitro Magna Charge as well. I notice we tend to get variants towards the end, such as Molten Hot Dog, Jade Flashwing, and Scarlet Ninjini last year.

Personally I'm surprised Kickoff Countdown hit New Zealand so soon, I was thinking he'd come with Doom Stone, did he come sooner due to World Cup stuffs?

I think so - Like Springtime Trigger Happy and Jolly Bumbleblast, I think that Kickoff Countdown was timed to match the season.
I don't hold out much hope for Jade or Quickdraw, and given the timeframes, I'm sure we're never getting Nitro Magna Charge or Enchanted Hoot Loop.

Besides, didn't Nitro Magna Charge only come in a double-pack? We didn't get any double packs at all. :/
