Be prepared for them to charge $25 for the pre-order. They did that for Dark Edition, and I can't imagine them letting you reserve it and get the figure for less than the cost of the figure. This isn't Gamestop's first rodeo.

On the topic of Power Up Pro. I have used the $10 off coupon 3 times and that mean I have saved $30 subtract the cost of Power Up Pro costs and I've still save $15 total. Not to mention the bonus points I get along with Game Informer.

But getting Game Informer is a negative. They should be paying you to take it off their hands...

What I find funny is the advertisement says you can only get gear shift from pre ordering her, which isn't true, It was stated in one of the videos that she will be available but not till 2015 if you don't pre order her. That's a little misleading, but of course I'm not complaining because my daughter wants her so she will be a pre order somewhere. Juts waiting for most of the pre order bundles to come out and see which is best.

Not to mention I SERIOUSLY doubt they will only be sending out exactly the number to match the pre-orders, especially considering late cancels and people that do not pick them up. If they try to hit the number exactly, you might end up with pre-orders you cannot fulfill due to errors, last minute orders and defective figures. I'm fairly certain that there will be overflow. I mean, look at Lightcore Hex - they massively over-estimated how many they would need for that to cover pre-orders for the Starter and a few more for others.

This game should only be $5 for a deposit, since I was able to pre-order the regular Trap Team game with only $5 down. It was the $100 dark edition that they said you had to put down $25. From what I was told, it's on pre-orders of $100 or more that require the $25 deposit instead of $5.

Yes, but I highly doubt Gamestop will let you walk out of there with a $10 figure for $5 and no guarantee you will show back up for the game and pay the rest. At minimum, I'd say the apply a special rule to it and make it $10. I'd tend to believe it if you picked the figure up when you got the game, like last year.

Gamestop reserves try to be about 25% of the total cost these days due to so many not picking up items. Depending on what the price is of the starter for them, it's possible it'll be a 10 buck deposit or a 25 buck one.

No, of course you could give it a shot. I was just commenting on the likelihood of it working. I've seen Target and Best Buy pre-order screwups, but Gamestop has this pre-order stuff down to a science. I doubt they would miss such an obvious hole. Heck, if I didn't already have Wind Up I might have even given it a go, even though my pre-order is almost certainly going to Best Buy.

Maybe, due to the language, they tie it to your Adventure Club/Power Rewards account and cancel that account if you don't pick it up. Or maybe they just see it as a promotion and the Adventure Club tie in is to keep people from going to multiple Gamestops to get $5 figures - and if you don't pick it up then it is not a big deal since most people will get it (50% off a figure isn't a big loss). I dunno, let us know what happens.

Trap Team preorder is only $5. It only bumps up to $25 if it's $99 and over.

Also about the free posters. Only Large/Extra Large stores should get them. They are the figure checklist posters. Every store will be getting "Activity books" to give away.

Gamestop never cancels your Power Up Rewards Pro account for not picking up a preorder, and this is coming from past experience. I didn't have the money to finish my pay off my preorder, so what they did was just give me a refund of the $5 deposit, which I picked up at the store on launch date.

We got our Windup for $5.00 with the Trap Team preorder. They are also selling Windup for $9.99. Also got a poster.

Got two posters, Wind Up, and an extra Heavy Duty Sprocket just for the heck of it.

I happened to be out of town for work (again...) and was near a GameStop. Took a break, dropped by. got a WindUp and a poster. Was eying a Dark Starter for Wii - but I already have the Wii U Dark and a Wii regular... ended up passing. The WindUp will probably be returned if I find him elsewhere without the stupid GameStop sticker residue on the package. Grr.

They had some of the more sought-after figures there too. Saw a Fire Bone Hot Dog on the pegs.

Swap Force checklist

I went finally I wanted to preorder Gearshift + core Smolderdash with 30$ so I could've get the free sidekick but he said no. so I bought + lc and FINALLY got And btw, lots of single for 10$ didn't need to preorder TT.

LloydDXZX same I found lots of single wind ups but didn't need him since I got him in the sheep wreak pack. I also got mini jini from buying the forge of ferry battle pack. This weekend was a hunting success.

I got a Fire Bone hot dog, freeze blade (to paint), and wind up (also to paint) after preordering the game (and not gonna pick it up )

the poster is a book checklist/madlib and quiz. but it sure does look cool.

overall was good. got to help 2 families with skylander day deets. This FBHD ends my swap force adventure until whenever quickdraw hits retail after july 15th @ walmart.
