So a new character has been announce for Trap Team, Gearshift. now she won't be released until 2015, however, if you pre-order her you get her the day Trap Team the game is released....if you dont pre order her you won't get her until 2015. she looks pretty awesome to be fair.

good attempt to trick people into pre-ordering... but we dont know enough about the game, i will wait until 2015. if the game is not good, i know i didnt waste my money.

It's up on Gamestop too, for $15.99 as opposed to Amazon at $14.99. So that pretty much tells us that Trap Masters are going to be $14.99-16.99 (depending on store) just like Giants and Swappers. At first I didn't think she was a Trap Master, because I thought they all had "transparent" traptanium weapons, but seeing a bigger image shows that her ring is transparent (you can see her leg through it).

While it's vague, I'm going to echo what a lot of people have said here and say that it looks more like you can pre-order her, and not that she's a pre-order bonus.

Which is moot to even make a big deal about because there will probably be several characters you can pre-order at launch alongside her, she just happens to be coming out later than wave 1/2 etc.

I've preordered her for myself and a friend (who lacks Prime and didn't want to spend $10 in S/H), so I can testify that this is a preorder for the character and not for Trap Force.

I can definitely sympathize, but I (and I assume a lot of Skylanders veterans) have gotten to the point where I would rather just get everything as it's available and not have to worry about figures going terminally out of stock, discontinued after their wave first hits, etc. I might pay a little more in the long run, but peace of mind has become priceless.

I have to agree that I'd rather preorder if the option is there. Look at S2 Hot Dog. You can't find him on a shelf in this area, and the brief few minutes he came back on Amazon were short lived. Preordering him would save any concern over the fact that I can't find one on a shelf to save my life. We have no idea which ones are going to be scarce like S2 Hot Dog and S2 Bash.

but this aint a s2 reposed.... its an normal skylanders that is gonna be in the shops everywhere in 2015... u will just get it a couple of months earlier... thats all. its nothing specials.

Yeah i couldn't find a S2 Bash for my brother for S#!%....so now he will most likely never get one. But, say la vie...like he said .."i think i will live."

So like what most of the others are say'in, the game has barely been announced to worry about any pre-orders. We still have many months to go before the release, hence i to will wait...

While this is true, figures don't last on the shelves forever. Who knows how popular a figure may be, example being how I don't see too much of Scratch on the shelves around here. I'd rather a guarantee that I'm going to get who I want with preorders.

Problem with these pre-orders is the price. I rarely if ever buy these at full price. I can wait till 2015 and get her at a TRU BOGO sale. She does look pretty awesome, though!
