Hopefully it'll look more like this rather than the derpy ones we saw before. Totally excited...now the question is, how to get my hands on Issue #0? haha

I'm not sure why you would need to - you can just buy a ticket. Also, what does this have to do with NYCC? Issue #0 is at SDCC, not NYCC.

"Sneak to" vs. "Sneak into" more likely implying other obligations he'd have to sneak away from to go to NYCC. Also given the comics are going to start hitting shelves in October, and NYCC is in October, there is still a chance IDW Publishing could have some collectors issue or give aways at NYCC.

Point taken. But I can tell you as someone who has been to all but one NYCC since they've started, publishers will rarely have the same item as an exclusive for both events. Maybe we'd get an alternate cover to an issue instead.

Yes finally they've done it. Now we can learn some more about the obscure Skylanders and even get a nice sneak peek at some new faces. Who thinks we'll see a lot of new guys? I'd like to think we may see at least 6 newcomers trap masters and/or cores.

I am definitely all for a comic book. Would love more backstory for the characters. I would also love to see a Cartoon of skylanders too and amazed that they have not put one out yet.

My biggest concern with the comic is the sizable roster of characters we have already. It's going to be extremely hard to give any character a major spotlight for very long. This either means we'll have a lot of mini stories bouncing around between everyone with minor cameos here and there, or we'll be stuck with the "Avengers" type of group of 8 mains they wanna push and minor cameos of everyone else.

Let's just hope Spyro even gets a cameo...
But, really, this looks cool. I just hope the characters won't be the ones that everyone knows already (Stealth elf, Eruptor) I mean, can't we get a Sunburn comic, anyone?

That would have involved them taking on the British artist who did that and I doubt that happened.
