I have figures from the Giants ans Spyros Adventure but I only used them in the 3ds version of those games. I have the console version of Swap Force and I was wondering if there way anyway to get those characters sould gems?

Characters from Spyro's Adventure and Giants have their soul gem powers already unlocked in Swap Force.

Having liked Skylanders from the start, I wondered how they would manage to fit in the 32 original characters' soul gems, and the 16 new characters' soul gems in Giants, but when I got it, I discovered that the soul gem power is automatically unlocked. This has positives and negatives - it doesn't require any searching to unlock a final upgrade, but it removes the challenge of that search.

If you want the challenge, put the game on in which the character was introduced and find it.

I know that I can do that, what I meant was that it was perhaps making it too easy and allows a quick way out. Once you have purchased the soul gem upgrade, there is no point in going back a searching through the introduction game looking for it, unless you want 100% (which isn't possible in Spyro's Adventure without certain characters due to an enemy count issue.)
