So whilst browsing the levels in Spyro World, I came across something a little strange. It could be nothing, just a pretty decoration, mind (it probably is, actually).

Here's the bridge in Dino Mines:



But if we look at it from another angle....



It almost looks as though it was part of a track at one stage.


What do you guys think? Decorative purposes (which barely anyone would see), or possible feature that was quickly abandoned?

It looks very possible to have been a railroad track for the level to travel somewhere, but personally I think it was just an oversight. maybe the modeler could've thought you could see under the bridge. But the texture itself might have been for some removed railroad. That would be kind of an odd formation for railroad tracks...

That's what made me wonder too.

If (and it's a big if, of course) it was going to be used, maybe it was originally a completely different level at one stage? Perhaps with a mini game like the Zephyr trolley?

Probably was going to be, as said up there ^

I think it's just a pattern made of wooden planks. But I see why you have thought about train tracks
