I do not expect to hear any news tomorrow coming from the London announcement. I would not doubt that they will have to sign some paperwork that they cannot post or talk about anything till after the New York announcement on the 23rd. I guess we will see.

If Trap Team is the real name, it could actually be a Trap.

I do think the box is real but probably 3D printed.

Nah it's got metal hinges. It's got to be handmade or machine carved wood with hand painting.

The mystery of "What's in the Box?" is always better than what is actually in the box.

Always.

Without fail.

It'll be the new "thing" for this game, I can almost assure it. But this "thing" won't be particularly to do with a new character type, it'll be... Kind of how like the "thing" of Swap Force wasn't really the Swap Force characters, but the swapability that they all did.

It'll be an object that you stick on/around the portal (or maybe even a new type of portal) that adds this "game changing" feature that'll make S4 stand out above the previous three.

We'll probably know at the UK reveal anyway, so only maybe... 12 hours?

Maybe it's a ring that works with the portal. It's like a jewelry box and contains a portal of power ring. The ring stores information and does other things as well.

He DID get caught in the volcano, just like the SWAP Force was, and was probably sent to Earth. Same with Glumshanks, but they were Swapped.

What if....mounts? Like, everyone was speculating on the vehicles, but why not mounts. Trap Team = Trapping enemies with your "team" aka your Skylander and a mount. Certain areas need a mount to enter/specific kind of mount.

I think it might be too. One of the FB posts said "What happened to Kaos after SWAP Force? You'll find out this Wednesday right here." I still think the media event invite technology is going to be part of this year's gimmick.

I wonder if anyone with an invite who frequents these forums has taken theirs apart to see if there's any sort of RFID in it.

I posted a similar guess on another thread, but what if the box is related to the image of the Trap team - a bigger figure, plus a small sidekick-like pet. Maybe there will be a mini mystery box in each toy pack which contains this little sidekick pet...helping in battle and boosting main character stats, kind of like Infinity discs. But u won't be able to see the"pet" because it will be hidden in the box.
This would drive completionist collectors CRAZY!
