I was quite disappointed after getting the S2 Prism Break (initially had Lightcore). The Wow Pow seems weak in Swap Force. It'd be more usable if it didn't interrupt the beam when used, although even then a pretty crappy Wow Pow compared to many others out there. It's definitely very good in Giants, but I play SF a lot more than Giants.

It's not a real nerf, nor a buff, but Thumpback and Eye Brawl running animations are different.
Also, I didn't noticed that Slam Bam nerf, since I don't use him that often; hope this will be fixed in the fourth game...

I'm just starting to dig out my old landers out...starting on Air today....I can say the following based on my limited experience with these so far:
Whirlwind: Buffed Jet Vac: Buffed (Corkscrew works better, can be used consecutively) Sonic Boom: Slightly Nerfed ... throwing eggs seems more problematic/less helpful as before...her sonic edge not as strong Swarm: comparable Warnado: no comment yet Lightning Rod: Buffed (he really wipes the floor up with his attacks; I suspect he was overpowered before and this translated the same in Swap Force) I'll modify this post as I get more time doing these guys with their quests. I'll provide specifics on what I like/dislike at that time. I'd also like to compare the hit numbers as well--my comments so far are just based on "gut" reaction.

This is all personal opinion
I very much disappointed with what they did with gill grunt on both paths. He has a jump delay after using either of his attacks and the dual water stream issue is a mess. His water hose feels like it has less distance and knock back effect and his harpoons a lot weaker. His speed seems like its been dropped also. Wrecking ball I'm glad they made his tongue stronger and what I perceive to be faster, but his ball is a lot shorter. His burp attack I cant tell much difference. Trigger Happy has a lot more frickin health at lvl 1. He was supposed to be the long range quick hitter with low defense but that seems to have vanished. Popfizzs potions seem weaker to me, but I always preferred his Berserker mode so maybe lack of familiarity. Eruptors lava barf/volcano secondary attack, not his wow pows, seems to have a lot less area for proc on damage. Flameslingers arrows seem to be stronger but his fire trail attacks weaker. Sonic Booms Blast attack echolocation effect on the scream path is a lot weaker than spryros adventure but stronger than gaints Hexs swirly skull rain charge part of the attack hits a lot less or I guess circles a lot slower, but charges faster so I guess its a trade off. Bashs tail strike is a lot stronger, makes me favor his tail path a lot more in this game Ignitors mega slam dosent feel as strong to me Hotdogs fire bark seems weaker to me Zap has his electricity stronger thankfully |

Boomers Shockwave path radius is a lot smaller than it used to be and his troll bombs like to roll away down hill before you can kick them. Almost penalized on his personal quest if you picked the shockwave path
Sonic Booms hatchlings and double troubles minis like to attack wooden crates and boxes before they attack enemies. Trying to take them into battle and they run away attack objects. Bummer. Feels like Zooks bazooka path is a lot weaker and hes a bit slower. Eruptors magma ball that he rolls around is a lot stronger than before. Aesthetically, I really like his magma print foot prints in this game. Chop Chops bramble move is really strong but may have a shorter range. |

I wonder if it will go back and forth between VV and TfB every year on which characters and moves are good or not. They really need to have both companies sit down and be like hey this is how we originally thought this character was supposed to be and have them both on the same page. VV tweaked some of the older characters this year in good and bad ways but they were mainly dealing with foreign. I wonder how TfB will handle all the swappers and new cores from swap. TfB may be the original team but they are not perfect, I assume we'll have a few complaints on the swappers come october.
