Is anyone else disappointed by their gameplay? Just don't seem to enjoy either character myself, thoughts comments welcome.

I think their great! Freeze Blade especially. I love his gameplay, his voice and his personality is well developed, which is rare for a Skylander made for Swap Force. TfB was great at giving their Skylanders a developed personality. VV on the other hand, they got lazy with most of them. Not all though, Fire Kracken (Life of the party), Roller Brawl (tough and extreme), Free Ranger (Charismatic), Boom Jet (Cocky), Night Shift (Grouchy and old-fashioned), Freeze Blade(Cocky and tauntish), and Dune Bug (Modest) all have at least decent ones.

I've enjoyed them both, and once I found out how to combo certain techniques together makes them powerhouses. I agree that the voice acting in Swap Force is nowhere near as good as previous gen characters, but I've got no complaints for these two.

I'm actually pretty content. I wish trapshadow could have more than one trap out at a time, and Freeze blade has way too much in the way of 'charge' attacks, but his charge time is minimal. More than anything, his lower half - blade - is pretty awesome once leveled up.

I have tinkered some more with freeze blade I retract my statement on him he's very solid and a powerhouse.

Trap, to me is a very fun, fast, melee brawler. Shadows move set seems lacking, and I hate charging invisibilty. I dig him though.

Found a bunch of trap shadows and freeze blades at the miller hill mall, Duluth, Minnesota yesterday. Got them that morning by UPS. didn't get any. Did pre-order Mario Kart 8 though.

Freeze blade is awesome, Trap shadow is meh, but is cool looking.

Yeah i agree, trap is cool. Shadow's only dot is the cahrge time of invisibility wich was a bit unnecessary
My only complaint on him is... he's REALLY small in-game! i did'nt expect that, he's almost cute X3

I know you guys think Trap Shadow is "meh" overall but how is he in comparison to Stink Bomb? Stink Bomb was a massive disappointment, and the more I play him the more I dislike him. I'm wondering if Shadow is any more fun to play because I'll just feel bummed if both Sneaks utterly suck. Not looking forward to him a ton, because he just doesn't seem cool enough to me overall, but he has to be better than Stink Bomb... Right? Right?

The sneak portion of Trap Shadow is forgettable. - However I REALLY like his top half.

Let's a call a spade a spade though - Stinkbomb was the 2 of clubs...top and bottom both.

I actually like Stink Blade. Fast, smelly and has cool throwing star attacks.
