Yea most probs, VV didn't do the best job when it comes to personality and quotes for their Skylanders. Nearly half of them say "I'll take it" when finding treasure and some variation of "More Power" when leveling up.

So, the countdown on the Frito Lay web site reached the 0, but the contest hasn't oficially started, yet.
I guess it takes some time, to set up the site by adding the contest window and the new characters pictures.
However, if any of you will join the contest, could he/she be so kind to share the pictures with us?

I'd have to say yes. Hoot Loop sounds exactly like he does in game as he did in the shortcut. I do like how the shortcuts do their best to have Skylanders sound exactly like they do in game sound like in the shortcuts.
